View Full Version : Screenshotting with PiP?

I'm sure I've overlooked the obvious - but how does one capture a screenshot of their actual desktop view if they have several game windows presented on the same monitor?

I have three sessions configured so that the second and third are parked in little boxes at the bottom left and right of the display. With PiP, this setup works wonderfully and I have little need for additional displays. (This is also faster in a sense of not going "mouse pointer hunting" when changing screens.) However, if I hit the default print screen button while on the main game window, the other two are not included in the picture.

Any suggestions? I'm tempted to just get out the digital camera and take a shot that way, but have to believe there's a cleaner solution. :)

Thanks!

You on windows? Or Mac?

Oh wait duh, one moment.

You can hit ctrl+printscreen to copy the screen to the clipboard and then open paint and paste it in and save it. There are also some programs that'll do it.

Thanks! That worked very well.
