Hello!

This is my first post.

Glad to see a nice site dedicated to playing multiple toons.

I have been doing it for a while, but I was having to click into each window to do things. Now, I will be a lot more efficient.

I am using 5 open windows in low rez ont eh same computer, so it is very minimal. To transfer the keystrokes to all toons, I am using keyclone.

1 Questions:

How do you coordinate your moving of the toons?

I know that if I can get them all looking the same way at the start (then fight the habit of turning with the mouse), they will all coordiante correctly, but I am having a hard time getting that to happen.
I have seen a few videos where the guys actually DEPLOY around the main toon. That not only would help me out a lot but fitst he overall coolness factor of playing all the toons at once.

FYI - I have preliminarily chosen a Draenei priest and 4 Gnome Locks as my group. I have a 70 in each class already and the unrivaled mobility will be awesoem imo. I am toying with the idea of 5 Blood Eves, though :)

Thank you for you help!

Actually I think I have it all worked out.

I just set my priest as the /focus, then use /assist focus for targeting and /follow focus to realign the toons if they get out of whack a bit.

if by DEPLOY you mean have your clones move into a formation around the main, then you can do that with some creative key bindings. you could probably find posts on it in the forums... but here's diamond:

(main: A clones: B,C,D,E)

diamond:
i will use the 'z' and 'x' keys. 'z' spreads out, 'x' brings them back in.

A: x( nothing ) z( nothing )
B: x( strafe left ) z( strafe right )
C: x( strafe right ) z( strafe left )
D: x( forward ) z( backward )
E: x( backward ) z( forward )

hope that helps.

OK!

THANKS!

Again - another obvious thign that I shoudl have thought about before asking...

Cool - makes sense.. make teh buttons do different things with different toons.. so they move in different directions.. easy enough...

thanks again!

Use follow to move all your characters around and unbind the default movement keys on your alts
