View Full Version : /Face?

I think the answer to this is "no", but if anyone in the universe knows about this, it would be soooo useful.

In other MMOs I have played there has been a "/face" command. It worked like "/follow" does in WoW except instead of facing your main AND moving towards him, they just face him.

Anyone know of anything like that in WoW?

This would be so incredibly helpful. Even with tons of tremor totems up, priests, locks, or warriors routinely fear bomb my 5 toons for about 0.8 seconds - just long enough to face them in a random direction and start them moving away before it is removed by the totems. Of course, this interrupts casting and stops my DPS till I hit my /follow key, they turn back towards me, inch towards me a bit, then can begin reacting to my casting macro I've been spamming the whole time. With a /face command I could get them to face me without the extra second of starting to cast then interrupting themselves by inching towards me. Better yet, I could /face the targets who are running in and out of my team, causing 1/2 of my casts to fail as I madly try to rotate my team to keep them in front.

Any ideas? If not a /face command, any other way to keep fear from shutting my whole team down for 4-5 seconds?

There is no /face ala DAoC in WoW, sadly.

As for fear bombs... your team in your sig is extremely prone to it I'm afraid. It's another huge reason fotm shaman teams are so powerful. Staggered Tremor Totems FTW.

I'd suggest getting a lot of practice in on being quick & super reactionary with that /follow macro. You'll increase your skills in time.

Yeah.. no way to do it.

Too bad you don't have a Shaman... multiple Shamans are even better. It pulses every 3 seconds.

Even with a /face, the best group in doac was the aoe banshees.

I hear /facepalm comes in handy a lot in WoW.

Yes, /facepalm comes in quite handy in PvP ;-p

I actually normally run 1xPally 4xShaman so have 4 tremor totems up. Fear still eats my lunch by shutting me down entirely for 4-5 crucial seconds.

If you drop the tremor totems staggered, it should reduce it somewhat from 4 seconds

Sham1 - /castsequence tremor totem,,,
Sham2 - /castsequence ,tremor totem,,
Sham3 - /castsequence ,,tremor totem,
Sham4 - /castsequence ,,,,tremor totem

or

Sham1 - /castsequence tremor totem,<different totem>,<different totem>,<different totem>
Sham2 - /castsequence <different totem>,tremor totem,<different totem>,<different totem>
Sham3 - /castsequence <different totem>,<different totem>,tremor totem,<different totem>
Sham4 - /castsequence <different totem>,<different totem>,<different totem>,tremor totem

The fear will still hit, but it might only last 1-2 seconds

hi @all

i think you can maybe simulate a "/face" with channel spells like bandage.

maybe you want to face your main just give him a bandage.

I donīt know if it realy works but maybe ...

i am not that into wow that i know alot of stuff .. maybe there are other thinks that you can channel on the other chars.

maybe that is a solution with that we can live.
