Ah, I'm not too fimiliar with the process of Filefront. I didn't know if you had an option to make it stream or not. I guess not. Ugh, I wonder if there is an alternative to this.

Dont expect u get this 2200 too. Beside the expierience and skill in arena you need perfect settings/macros to compensate your lack on free movement.
You need a healer who back you up 100% all the time even when you take heavy burstdamage, so you are able to drive full damage and dont waste time with healing yourself.

S3 Multiboxers are beatable easily by S1-Teams, if the opponent is skilled enough they will heavy abuse LOS. I met Teams on 1500 Rating who anoys me 30 minutes long with LOS, short CLOS-Attacks every minute, killed very careful my totems with Rang1-Spells followed by Painsupression-Priest-Fearbomb + Warlock-fear +Warrior-Fear. If they assume a own little mistake, they did a fallback.
There exist several tactics to beat us. Manafights, heavy CC etc.

In lower ratings you will face Teams which arent made for higher ratings, like Rogue, Rogue, Mage, Mage, Priest or Hunter, Warlock, Rogue, Druid, Priest. These teams can be very painful for you.
If all teams would know, how delicate Multiboxer-Shaman are for LOS we would never hit the 1500.

i don't think so that he was joking. He's playing on the same Realm on Frostwolf-EU, its the bigest and maybe hardest pvp realm in DE and the most teams after 1550 hanging around with skilled people and Full s3. Its such a pain when you start with arena and you get steamrolled from this players, when they know how to handle a boxer, its not always fun in arena. I play in the rating ~1720 and some team combinations are nearly impossible to beat for me :(
The game with the LOS is a very critical point and they just run and run and run, till the mana is empty etc..pp

Serious question, most of the boxers doing arenas have mentioned 1800-1900 ratings at the most. Could just be that there's not enough multiboxers out there doing it in the first place to create much representation in the higher brackets.

Stormstrike does have bad Alliance in every AV.The opponents in your movie (the one in your thread) never used LOS-Kiting against you. With S3-Items or not, your not able to kill an opponent instant. For the easiest target in a solid team, you will always need 2 actions/1 global Cooldown. For a taff target you need 3 actions. A team which know what they should do against multiboxers doenst give you the 2-3 seconds to burst someone. Do the math, what are you able to do when your opponent is in sight for 2seconds?

You can dispell, but if they are clever, they do a rebuff after they fallback for the 10th time.
you can use your big chainlightning which may crit for max 10.000 from 4 toons. But no opponent with buffs in arena will die due 10k damage.
Besides this, they wouldnt send you an easy target, they will send you a warlock, a rogue with CLOS, or any other class with damage-reduction-buffs for a very short time.
Sounds like a lot of theory, but i met such sneaky teams in 1500 and 1700, also i met teams in 1500 and 1700 who played like 1200.

IMHo aellie met such teams too, but he couldnt show it in his movie, cuz 1 match would go over 30 minutes.



The realmpool is a important factor too, more teams = harder competition.

And I managed (in s1 + badge/rep rewards) to get to 1706 rating. If I had full s3 I would have gotten even higher, but my spelldmg is only at 760 so I cant instagib targets which has full s3 (or even just a few parts and then s2).
So, its not really THAT hard really.. Im looking very much forward to s4 and to get my hands on 4 parts, gonna be so imba :>

This quote right here is dead on. The teams who really know how to play and fight for to the very last straw take sometimes quite a long time to beat, and I run out of disk space very fast >< the good news is I did get a few clips, but when the game drags on for 5+ minutes trying to film I usually stop it as I feel it's not entertaining. Though of the few I did get, I will put them to good use as training videos :)

Yep, I am making a push for that right now. Running into a few problems though, currently when we queue it's dead. Queued 2 days ago and waited for 15 minutes - game never came up. Queued yesterday, waited 10 minutes got a 0 point team, queued again waited 7 minutes got a VERY hard 3 point team Eurocomp that almost pulled off a win. Healer said that wasn't worth risking 27 points to so we called it a night yesterday. We are going to try to get some real games in on Friday/Saturday. So hopefully higher rated point teams are on then. The team I'm currently on is only 2144. If I didn't switch around so much before this wouldn't be too much of an issue since I had a team previously at 2285 with no stopping in sight.

Fantastic! I'm happy to hear that - I'm very curious about how far you'll be able to push your team's potential, it's very exciting. As far as the queueing problem, I've experienced this problem alot with 2200+ queues in my home battlegroup (Nightfall-US). If it's any sign of hope, I did notice an IMMENSE increase in frequency of queues in the last 2 weeks of Season 2. I bet everybody will start getting their butts into gear to make their final pushes and you'll have the queue pops you need. Last season in 2v2's alone I played between 200-300 games in the final 2 weeks to make my gladiator push. Don't worry, I think the queues will start speeding up!

Another thing I know was popular when I was on 2200+ 5v5's teams was coordinated queueing. Alot of the top 20 teams kept in contact with eachother and let eachother know when their scheduled queue times are. I'm not sure that would be a good idea for you to let any of them know when you're queueing as it gives them foresight into being prepared for matches against your setup.. it's better to keep them on their toes in my opinion.. but if you haven't already checked your Battlegroup's forum some of the teams may have posted their play times for you to use.

I would think they'd be interested in a new challenge. I really don't think you're unbeatable, you just take a different strategy to approach. I guess they're either not interested in dealing with new arena strats, or they're just afraid of what they don't fully understand.

From watching your videos I'm pretty confident you could take a place in the top 10 of your battlegroup, given enough queue pops against the high rated teams to make your way up there. Not sure about hitting #1, though, because the current #1 team got themselves a healthy 120 rating lead over the #2 spot.. would prolly take too long to catch up at the rate high end queues go.

I bet the annoying thing isn't so much whether you can get your rating up or not, though, it's that you aren't getting a chance to test yourself against the best out there.

but i'm willing to learn how you destroy with 772 spelldmg a full s3 lock, priest, mage, warrior and druid combo team...show me some arena vids...and when i'm wrong i will make a post with "I'm sory your right i'm wrong"...but I'm pretty sure this videos will never come...cause you get steamrolled like 2-8 tells us! QQ

Thanks! as for the keyboard turning comments, it's actually much more effective than trying to mouse turn, as a caster you don't need to mouse turn to still get a spell off - they only need to be within a 180 degrees of you. I also push my buttons separately using 2 hands, so I have no opportunity to mouse turn :)

Someone commented earlier in the thread about how these videos may potentially make us look bad.

Fact of the matter is, the people who we look bad to wouldn't think any better of us if the videos weren't out there. And a lot of people are becoming more aware of multiboxing through these videos. Like me! I watched this video about a week ago, debated for a couple days, and then create 3 trial accounts.Bu the end of the first day with the trial accounts, I'd pay to have them upgraded.

I can honestly say I had no sweet clue about multiboxing until saw this video, and I'm very grateful to have been given the opportunity to try this out.

But yeah... some people re just gonna hate us no matter what. I actually went to my battlegroup forum to see what the general thought is on multiboxing. Got some pretty varied feedback.

Videos like these are a good thing. There are always going to be people against multiboxing for various reasons, and a video isn't going to convince someone to be anti-boxing. But the video does get the general population more educated and interested about what it is that we do. Nowadays, I don't even have to defend myself ever in the game. As soon as one person says something about me in a battleground, there's at least 2 or 3 people that shoot him down. Often with some slight misunderstanding of the mechanics ("STFU noob, haven't u heard of a macroed keyboard?"), but at least the message is getting out there.

Someone is doing 3v3.... And I thought i was save because I was in 3's :(

Being a multiboxer, I visit the forums, and a watch the videos.
Which is why when I saw Aelli, we just stood back and I had a laugh.

I told them the pain was coming quickly and who to go after, we almost got one of them. I kept trying to rank 1 moonfire the totems and cyclone everyone.
Our poor lil warlock was having a hell of a time landing spells because of the totems.

Wish we could have got you again!

Ya I've been pretty bored trying to get 5v5 games in with the queues taking so long and my healers playtime being very limited right now. Testing the waters in 3v3, I really don't like the feel of it though and don't expect to get very high in the ratings.

Well, I must be playing in a battlegroup which is alot better than others.. Alot of the teams in the high-end of the tournament, played on EU-Stormscale :P

I've never said ANYTHING about ME being high in the battlegroup.. So I have told the truth all along :) I'm talking about how I THINK/HOPE its gonna go when s4 hits and I get to 1003 spelldmg instead of my low 760 spelldmg.. Nothing less, nothing more..

I'm trying arena 5v5 myself and my biggest problem is having to stop casting on my to be able to turn my alts.

Clearly this keyboard turning is far better, but i really wouldn't know which damn buttons i should use for it, I don't have any free ones in reach :o
