Question on Priests spell stacking

I apologize if this has been asked before, I searched but have been search challenged in the past.

I am wondering if Renew and Shadow Word: Pain stack if you have multiple priests?

I am toying with 4 Priest and 1 Warrior. I already have 70 priest and 70 warrior so was just looking to power level 3 more priests. Can't find too much on this combination other than multiple mobs pulls could be busy with aggro. I got to think though if renew stacks and sw:d stacks that has to be powerful combination.

Should have specified not really looking to concentrate too heavily on arena just play in bg's and play around in regular level instances to see them.

Thoughts?

So I could actually have a HOT ticking on Warrior for around 2k per time? :-D

Can't remember actual amount my Pain hits for but that would have to be making for a pretty hurtful experience on someone too. Only downer going to be fast death if aggro's gets nuts.

Depending on your +healing of course - but yeah... SWP stacks, and HoTs stack (think of a raiding senario)..

Prayer of Mending and Power Word: Shield... if you're thinking of other ways to negate the side effects of Shadow Word: Death. PoM works VERY nicely for this, especially in PvP.

But yes, those spells stack.

Yeah, I was thinking of Shadow Word: Death also, that could be a nice 4k hit at once. 8o

Honestly if you are running 1 war X4 priests, I would spec them all shadow and have VE do all the healing (I believe VE stacks as well).

I would definitely try that, I dual boxed for long time with Shadow Priest and Warrior and aggro was an issue, so wasn't sure how much worse that would be.

Honestly if you are running 1 war X4 priests, I would spec them all shadow and have VE do all the healing (I believe VE stacks as well).That works OK up through about the 68ish instances. Once you get to the 70 instances (or heroics) VE is no longer a viable tank healer as it just doesn't do enough. It's great for sustained fights and most trash, though.

Aggro was an issue because your one shadow priest had all the aggro from whatever you were attacking. Consider that with 4 priests, the aggro is split x4, so the mob will usually die before aggro builds enough to become an issue. Of course, that's all moot if you're spamming mind blast like a crack monkey. :P
