[Keyclone] Problem.

Hello.. i searched all over but did not find any tread with this problem.. Anyhow im using Keyclone newest version. Windows vista. Everything workd perfect when i only used 1 computer. but now i decided to use 2. Then everything works fine in the start but after like 2-10 min one of the keyclone disconnects from the other and i have to restart both keyclones. Its not hard its just ennoying. i tryed with autoconnect but dosent really help. Any ideas?

But today bought new parts and 2x wow running very smooth..
But still ive got the disconnecting problem.
Was kinda wondering if you found a solution to this cause im very clueless now :(
Or anyone esle had a problem like this?

One thing does come to mind though...I wonder how long Keyclone will try to wait for a response from the other client before deciding it's no longer there?

Have you tried upgrading the firmware on your router? It's worth a shot, but it may not do anything for you.
Also, if you are connecting wirelessly, try using a cable connection and see what happens.

i may have a something that will resolve this... but i will need a couple of guinea pigs to test the fix.

in order to reproduce, i had 16 keyclones across 2 machines all interconnected. it was a bit crazy, but i may have found something.

i'm not ready to release a full version yet, as i have something else i want to complete first... but, if this bug is driving you crazy, just drop me a PM and i'll get you an alpha sometime tonight (after i get home from work)

I just switched to using keyclone across 2 computers (from just 1 computer) and yeh, after a while keyclone just stops working and i have to shut them both down and start them up again to get it working.

Sucks when it happens in the middle of a fight

EDIT: Don't think it's a network thing because Synergy still works.
FYI: Running Windows XP on 1 machine and Vista on the other

First, thanks KC for a great program. Used it trouble free (until recently) on two PCs to control four instances of WoW.

I downloaded version J in late May and noticed that Keyclone on my second PC would lose the connection to my first machine and become unresponsive. Rolled back to version G with no improvement. Sometimes Keyclone runs for an hour or more before halting, sometimes it's within minutes of starting. When I kill the process and restart KeyClone it runs fine for a while and then the same problem reappears. It's an inconvenience more than a deal breaker, but I'd love to not have to wonder when I'm going to lose two dps.

same here :((( running hotkey atm wich works perfect tho. but would love a new uppdate for software that we payed for :love:keyclone :love:

a new version is in process.
it is fairly difficult to pin down a bug that a handful of people are talking about when i cannot reproduce it myself.

i will be working on it again when i get home tonight.

does it was fixed?
because i have been using keyclone with 1 computer and 4 accounts with no problem but i said yesterday "ey im going to use 2 computers, 2 accounts in every computer and 2 keyclones so i can go to sattrath" but it keeps disconnecting every 5 minutes. and its annoying :(

i had a similer problem. it resolved when i swiched too run as admin

I'm having the same problem. Running two Win XP machines, both with Keyclone. After about 10 mins both Keyclones lock up and stop responding. I have to manually kill the processes and restart them to get things going again.... very annoying.

Any solution for this yet?

this hasn't been an issue for a long time. please make sure to update to v1.8k on all machines
