Lately, I've been getting some wierd disconnects in Wow - I run 5 characters on one box using keyclone. At this point I'm not sure if its keyclone or my ISP, or if its a hardware issue - it's seemingly very random when it happens. I could walk away from the machine and come back and find 2 or 3 characters back at the login screen while the others are still happily logged in - other times I can be spamming my keys and suddenly get dc'd at the start of a pull.

Essentially what happens is all copies of wow stop, like the connection to the server died - however I can still do things in game, open bages, move around, and then about 8 seconds later I get dropped to the login screen. Nothing actually locks up. All wows do this at the same time - some of them drop dead to the login, sometimes they recover from it and they play catchup going really fast through whatever action was going on then resume normal speed. This leads me to believe my connection temporarily dropped out. So I guess my question is... how do I even begin pin-pointing the cause...

Since the latest keyclone update I have also noticed many drops as you have described, I have also noticed a very high use of both ram and cpu usage, much more than normal. I have also noticed that keyclone will stop working on 1 or 2 of the toons, so i terminate keyclone and restart and it is ok until I am DC''d.

I have an amd 6000+,4gigs ram,8800GTS 648 ram,64 bit vista, 320gb HD raid 0, 22" ultra wide lcd's X2......

Like i said I noticed it after the last keyclone update and the latest update blizzard put out.

Yes - this is exactly when the problem began for me too. Though I don't have any keyclone issues you mentioned. I'll have to try going back to an older version of keyclone to eliminate that factor and run some sort of diagnostics to rule out my ISP...
