We're not going to have another thread about multiboxing. - Belfaire
from http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=6962957386&sid=1 when he locked the thread.

Be interesting if this is the tact they are going to take with threads that turn into multiboxing flames from now on, considering I didn't see another thread on the first two pages that may have indicated he locked that one for being a duplicate thread.

I like the quick locks. Shuts them up real quick. You see the mods do this alot more on the EU forums and you definitely notice alot less flaming/retarded postings going on in the EU forums than the American forums. Really hope to see some more of this type of moderation on the American forums because to be honest with you the mods on the American forums rarely ever seem to do jack shit and are very uninvolved with the community. It's really annoying and sad to see that a place that COULD have great intellectual discussions be constantly bombarded by ignorant asshats and douchebags.

Edit: " Except that I would be willing to bet that most of the people (most or many at least) that multibox sell the characters after they are done." <--Exact kind of ignorant asshat I'm talking about. I use to get so many of these types of comments when I was alliance side.

I just started to multibox in last week or so. I tried 4 locks on Magtheridon, seen other multiboxers, and pretty much got left alone by the other players. I started another group on another server Alexstraeza (or something) I got accused of being a bot no less than 7 times before i left northridge abbey. I think I even got reported for botting twice. (Oh, yeah, Alliance side.) Too much hate.

Probably do need a good discussion of it on the general forums, but too bad it generally turns into a flamefest: "You're cheating!" or "You're botting and selling toons!"
