I'm running keyclone J on 3 computers. I have a central computer running 3 accounts on vista and also as the network hub. Keyclone is primary on the system and connects to computer 2 (1 instance of game, XP) and computer 3 (2 instances of game, XP). I am able to connect to all the systems and run keyclone successfully. I am using innerspace on EQ2 to make it work. System 2 has never had issues and has never crashed. System 3 is new and has its firewall and antivirus off and is running in admin mode. System 3 runs just fine for 1-6 minutes and then locks up. It will communicate with itself on the cloning but ceases to hear system 1's commands. If I do ANYTHING in the keyclone window for system 3 it will freeze entirely.

I've made sure all systems are on keyclone J.

What else can I try to make this setup work?

Hello, I also have the same problem. Im running 1 instance on the desktop and 4 on the laptop and it refuses to communicate with the desktop after a few minutes like 4. It will respond to key presses such as pause and spacebar for jump. The keyclone gui will also hang if you try to interact with it after the event happens. Ill send you and email. ?(

here are the bits of microsoft weirdness i have found in the last few weeks:

1. on vista, if you do not run-as admin... keyclone won't be able to authenticate due to file permissions

2. on vista, keyclone will hang... if the permissions on the directory are not the same between administrator and user

3. on xp, keyclone can freeze for some unknown reason... but can be fixed if you CHECK keyclone/ setup/ general/ performance boost (i have no idea why this would impact it... msft weirdness)

From what I can tell, keyclone will hang when the traffic is ridiculously high. I use Ergodex keymaps so it might burst 7 keys is 150 milliseconds... so if I accidentally hit 3 ergodex buttons it might burst 21 in 150 MS. From what I can tell, "performance boost" makes the hangup a bit more rare. I think the big deal is to put delays between your keypresses or even use a manual keyboard. Works fine now! Thanks for the help last night

put delays between your keypresses

This is cardinal rule #1... NO delays. Delays = botting. Manual keystrokes are the ONLY legit way to go.
