I want to 5 box using only bloodelves. I can't seem to make my mind up about the combination though.
Problem is - No shammy. Not even sure if it's worth it without a shammy since shammy seems to be the best for Instances, and I don't want to level up far and then regret my decisions. . .
Thanks all.

well, I haven't started to level them yet, as I've concentrated on my 5 Shaman team, but I did make a 5 Blood Elf team of: Paladin (tank), Priest (healer), Mage (DPS), Mage (DPS), Warlock (DPS).
This will give them blessings, fort and spirit, intellect and imp, with a soulstone for anti-wipe, healthstones for all, ports and food and water.
Not looking forward to the complexity of all I must admit - all-Shammy is definitely way easier on the macro'ing 'n all.

PvP:
Follow Xzin's path and try 4 mages 1 priest, or his newly semi-paved path 4 warlocks 1 priest. I honestly would rather do 1 or 2 classes and have easier macroing than the advantage of ports/ss/buffs of 3+ diff. classes. Ima beginner though and enjoy pressing 1 button and the occasional 2 to get by ;P (if you havent guessed, i use to raid as a mage)

I have an all BELF 4x Warlock 1x Priest team atm and it rocks (Ok so I only just hit 20 with them but had a big life event recently so play time is down) Been running them for 2 months
It is hugely amusing farming 3+ levels above your team and just hitting each mob with 9 dots... Ghostlands held no fear for me ;) clearing orc villages in a single pass (run through and dot everything) 4x VW keep the agro off the clothies

I have BELF
Paladin
Holy Priest
Shadow Priest
Fire Mage
Destruction Lock
Blessings, Fortitude, Spirit Buff, Shadow Protection, Arcane Intellect, Imp Buff, Healthstone, Teleports, Soulstone, Summon, Refreshment Table
Shadow Priest = Misery, VT and VE as well as mind flay to stop runners, Shadow weave to buff priest and warlock damage (and vice versa warlock has shadow dam+ debuff)
I'm quite good at durnholde and doing the first boss on heroic, and I've been able to do instances at their minimum level.

Before in anyway I harm my reputation here, I want to say this firstly.
EWW bloodelves! Ewwwww! Ewww eww ewwwww! EWW!
Now that is out of the way.. You can't go "Xzin" with blood elves. For pvp, you want to have Will of the Forsaken, and I am sure Xzin as an experienced undead mage/lock/priest boxer would support this to be a key skill in PvP success.
So whatever you roll with blood elves, if you're looking for PvP mainly, blood elves aren't the best for the job. But if you're set on it no matter what and you really want blood elves and aim for pvp. I'd go 4x shadow priest and 1x disc/holy priest!
Would be fun to be honest. :P
And..
Fear Ward
3% of base mana 30 yd range
Instant cast 3 min cooldown
Wards the friendly target against Fear. The next Fear effect used against the target will fail, using up the ward. Lasts 3 min.
Not as effective as WoTF, 1 minute longer cooldown, but will however completely eat fear while WoTF removes it once you are under the influence.
So at the least, get one priest if you are serious about pvp. Don't go without. xD
Viable set ups I can think off..
Priest+4x hunter
2x Priest(One shadow)+3x mage
2x Priest(One shadow)+3x warlock
5x priest (four shadow)
Where one dps could be replaced by a protadin for PvE.
Probably more then this. These all have the ability to do well in bg's, probably not as well in arena's though.

If you're heart set on Belves, I'd go for mages/priest for this reason:
You can castsequence a rotation of mage AoE (Arcane explosion) + Belf AoE Silence.
Suvega runs 1x priest / 4x mage and in battlegrounds all he does is rush into the fray all kamikaze-like and aoe his little heart out. The Belf silence might help here to prevent people from deathcoiling/fearing/aoe'ing you back.
IMO, WoTF is still a superior racial for PvP purposes. Suvega's #1 vice is when he gets feared, as he doesn't have the benefit of staggered tremor totems to break him out of it.

Thanks all for the feedback. For me Bloodelves are like rolling Gnomes on Horde. Dunno why, just is.
I'll have to keep theorizing a bit before I make a final decision. I've dual boxed before the old fashion way (Alt-tabbing and microing to 70) and my toons are lready on a PVP server, but will probably mainly want to PVE...
My only other hesitation is already have a level 70 Priest on my main account, but then again, I have to start getting away from the idea that it's ok to have multiple level 70 toons of the same type.
I may try the Pally + Priest + Mage + Mage + Warlock... I'm just little nervous about using a Warlock since that's the one race I've never been and noob to 5 boxing =P
I rolled up trolls already - Warrior / Shammy / 3 Mages - and was fun for the first 10 levels or so. That's all the 5 boxing experience I have so far. And my god, the mistakes I've made so far (and hopefully learned from) were ROUGH! I still have to get the hang of toons running away and freaking out.
I guess in this set up my priest would heal or dps? For later instances - is pally enough for Tank + Heal?
Thanks again for any advice. I might also just keep it simple and try something established, but want to try to hit 70 before expansion =P - Damn Pricey game!

Pally + Priest + Mage + Mage + Warlock is very managable.
And if you already have a 70 priest. I'd level Pally + Mage + Mage + Mage + Warlock
Go with priest/mages+warlock for pvp, and pally+priest+mage+mage+warlock for pve. You still level 5 chars just as fas and taking advantage from having an already level 70 priest you can add in.

So far, I have enjoyed my BElf priest + 4 warlocks. They can handle normal instances from what I've seen. Heroics are probably out of the question, though. This is a PvP team, so I guess that's not too bad.

My first 5-box lvl 70 team was 5 x belfs. 1 Pally and 4 priests. Works like a charm for instances without fear (this was before the Fearward was added for all priests) However it was a HUGE misstep for pvp purposes.
Take it from one that has made his third lvl 70 5-box team: If you want to be serious about pvp, go for either Shamans or some combination of undeads. Everything else will just get you way too fustrated because of fearbombs.
My actuall pvp expirience so far (I've been 5-boxing since TBC released):
1 Pally + 4 priests (all belfs) : Close to useless for serious pvp.
1 priest + 4 locks :(all undeads) : Very good at BG's and world pvp. Limited in Arenas. But it requires ALOT of expirience to play well. You will have a ton of keybindings, X-keys PRO or something alike is highly reccomended for this.
5 shamans (orcs): Easyest of the setups. Relativly simple to controll (do not take me wrong on this one, it is stil HARD to master, but it is simpler than the lock+priest setup) . Also the best both for world pvp,BG and arenas IMO.

i am running a small group of 3 warlocks. i have a personal healer that i am not in control of...i recruited my cousin on heals and i have to say..not healing myself is great haha..
all he really has to do is bubble/ heal, fear bomb and LOOT!
i also related the Belves to gnomes....it is not why i picked Belves but basically the effect of a female Belf laughing over your corpse is very similar to a gnome dancing over your corpse haha
personally i love the Belf racial. i have toons of every race and Belves are my favorite...every time i play a different race i find myself trying to mana tap every 30 seconds....
for solo play i love the utility of the racials..especially on rogues which is my favorite class...30 energy back, area silence... can break people out of stealth with that area silence too...the thing is this is much better when soloing (at least so far..i need to work on chain-silence tactics)
now i plan on PvPing mostly, and i am sure there will be times i will wish for WoTF, but i am not going to do arena with them so i am not too worried, just BG's and maybe World PvP (not into ganking, more fair fights/ sunwell/ etc.
i am thinking of the priest fear-warding the main lock so if the group gets fear bombed while trinkets are on CD one will resist the fear and send a few fears right back to the attackers (3 warlocks and a priest = alot of return fears)
