Hello..

So im new at this and im getting another wow account tomorrow because i just gotta try this thing out...

Im gonna try to level up two toons using the Voice Commander program, as it seems easier than the clone stuff, and also i don't want two of the same class.

The thing is, i can see for my self, that looting, taking quests, handing in guests and stuff like that will be abit hard if i do it this way, so i'd like to ask if anyone got some ideas to make it easier :)

Also if you could tell me about you'r experience with the voice commander and leveling 2 at once that'd be awesome, as i havent been able to find much myself.

Thanks in advance!

I used Voice Commander briefly (while I still had 2 functional systems) and it was a decent system once you got it all programmed and such.

If there is a looting macro/script laying around (not certain haven't really looked it up) you could put that into an action slot and use it just like anything else.

The thing about Voice Commander, lol, you need to make sure that you mute your mic if you're going to be talking to someone. I had one of my characters aggro an entire group once because i was talking to my brother and the mic picked up something that sounded like an attack command.

Voice Commander is nice if you're only using 2 accounts and have the patience to set up every command that you're going to use.

Haha, how annoying :b

You don't think i can make a macro that makes the character loot nearest body? :S

I myself don't have much experience with it, besides the point voice recognition software don't like my speech :(

but I think it must be really irritating to say "heal" for 50th time during first 20min of play...

the post about it: Voice Commander - Voice recognition ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=275')

FYI I've had both AVG and Avast detect trojans in Voice Commander.

I had worked a bit on using voice recognition for chat, but I would imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to adapt it to give any command. Maybe once I'm done with finals this week I can play with it some more.

I did use voice recognition software (GameVoice) to control my /following Priest for a few dungeon runs but I gave up because, as the stress of a battle built, my voice would alter and commands would not be recognised... heal! Heal! HEAL FFS!!! etc :)

I then switched to a Belkin Nostromo n52 USB keypad/controller on the second PC...
http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-F8GFPC100-Nostromo-Speedpad-n52/dp/B0000DC643

which worked well... the top row of 5 keys selected party member, second row did HoT/small-heal/medium-heal/large-heal/party-heal and bottom row was for shield/fear/shackle etc.

Then I saw a real 5-Shammy group in AV, googled, found KeyClone, bought 2 copies, bought 3 more accounts and jumped in with both feet :)

FYI I've had both AVG and Avast detect trojans in Voice Commander.Did this happen to anyone else? I think that this will be a cool program but the last thing that i want are viruses. Also when you say "heal" is it firing off a button press or something else, just want to make use that it is ok with TOS. It will be fun to use it when the wife is home. I can be like "I hate you bitch", and when she yells at me, i can be like "that is what i have to say to attack, i have no clue why the programmer did that".

There's really no other way to do it. I can't see it being a problem with the TOS since what it does is similar in a way to key broadcasting programs and there is no automation taking place.
