Has anyone ever noticed when you click your key binding for follow the character will run like 50 yards turn around and run back, or take off running then stop because out of range to follow?
Shit is retarded.

I only notice this when I use autofollow in combination with auto-attack. I've never seen toons run amuck unless I was autofollowing and in motion at the time my auto-attack engaged and damaged a mob.
I could be wrong, but I think this is an issue on blizzard's end.

Yeah blizzard is gay, and need to rethink their auto following UI.
I notice it ALWAYS when I am behind my toons some will turn around and follow, 1 might run straight.

I have seen it. I first thought it was a key broadcasting that wasn't working right, but then I thought, I didn't press a key, I just used my mouse. Guess have to wait for 2.4.3 or 2.5, /sigh

I've noticed this too. Sometimes one of my characters would just start running like his auto run was turned on.
At first I thought it might have been because there's delay between the target change on the main and the focus target that appears on a slave. This might cause a slave to target something else and go for it. However I have yet to pit point a reason for the problem.
We could try posting it in some bug report on the wow forums, might get some attention. Although it's not game breaking, and it doesn't happen all the time, so I doubt any developer will bother. Solo players don't really bother with follow anyway.

Nothing will stop it, unless I click on the secondary screen, then the main stops.
It's never happened while soloing, and i've been playing since the first month of release.
No clue why it happens, and it's not my computer, it's happened on 3 separate CPUs, while dual boxing.

I figured it out.
Problem is not having W+ FKeys bound. But all good now.

Yeah, I've had that happen when I pressed my auto-follow hotkey while I was holding another key down. There are also times when I did not have the group on auto-follow, just had them standing in a spot, and pressing an assist macro while holding another key down would also cause them to suddenly start auto-running. And it sure was hard to get them to stop. :P
Just one of the many little quirks that I've had to learn to watch out for as I learn to multibox. At least I no longer switch between button pages on the alts. >.<
