My Next Team 5 BE Mages or Warlocks

Well now that my Pally/4Shaman team is rolling close to hitting outlands, time to look at trying something new out. I want to do a Horde Group and they will be Blood Elves, and i'm rolling them on Mag's US server. So just wondering from those who have done or had experience on a group of 5 mages or 5 locks. Would it be worth it to say level a preist/pally as the healer for the group as well? or would that take too much DPS away from them? They will do quests for the most part and PvP for sure, not likely they will do alot of PvE or Instances as i have enough alliance toons for that to keep me going for a while.

If you're gonna do all 5 the same class, I'd do locks just because of soulstone and SL/SL builds. ;) Mages are too squishy w/o heals or tanks, IMO.

I am interested in instances. I can't imagine getting a mage to rejoin the group if they die, but I could easily summon a lock after he comes back in. Also, no healers would seriously suck. You might get by with mana shield and make them Draenei (GotN). I would still go with locks so you have at least a tank type to help. For bosses, I would go with 2-3 voids. Hopefully the boss would have to go through 3 of them before coming to 2 shot you. Plus big numbers for crit is fun, but not if you can't see them, were as 200 DOTs on a mob is always fun (since every char can see all the DOTs). Just my 2 cents.

i havent really tried either to be honest, but i think that warlocks would Definitely be more self-sufficient than mages.

Add a priest healer and/or pally tank and mages get very competitive for pve. But 5x a single class... warlocks plz, thx =D

If you plan on doing any sort of PvP you will regret not going undead.

If you are doing Locks , Go undead. its a pvp server and BF raicals for locks is worst of all the races

If you also make a shadow priest and 4 locks you have dps and another buff and heals when needed

Simple answer... which have you heard more of on WoW's forums? NERF MAGES... or NERF LOCKS !!!

I personaly have 5xwarlocks all lvl 6 so far they are fun

I'll go 4 locks and a priest. You will not have a problem with mana. Plus it is almost anti wipe. Have 4 soul stones, so just don't die more then every 7.5 minutes.
