Help with X-Keys

Hi guys,

This is specifically aimed at people who mutli-box with an X-Keys Pro. I am a little confused how people use the mouse, move and use the x-keys at the same time.

I probably need a lot of practice but I am confused how people use keyboard/x-keys in left hand and mouse in right?

Any suggestions on how you guys do it and play so effectively?

My xkeys pro is only for spell casting. All directional movement is from Keyboard and mouse. Then I just reach to my left with my left hand if there's a specific spell i need to cast. With PVP im usually on autorun anyway so Im constantly moving.

I don't ever use the keyboard for anything but chatting. My KB is a very small one (see my FAQ) such as to not get in the way.

Mouse is for movement and targeting.

Mouse alone is currently impossible for me for circle strafing. Very important for those 2.5 second cast time fireballs and losing LOS or Rogues trying to backstab you. Just going behind them helps me a lot. At least speaking from my "limited" experience.

I've started to realize the X-Keys are going to not be a keyboard replacement but assists for me.

I am going to setup all my spells how I normally would on my main and play using my keyboard and mouse.

Using my X-Keys for macro style stuff like, everbody heal target x a b c d - how Xzin has in his screenshot. Or everybody make a your focus, everybody make b your focus etc.

Since I'm waiting for a few things to fall into place before I get started I am spending alot of time brainstorming and thinking and writing stuff down.
