Do you have to run more than one video card in order to get 3 monitors of output?
I am looking to copy this setup. ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=40864&highlight=#post40864')

What should I be looking to do in order to pull that off smoothly?

yes you will need 2

In that setup he is using:

1)SAPPHIRE 100225TXSR Radeon HD 3870 Toxic Vapor Cooled 512MB 256-bit GDDR4 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card
2) ATI X1950XTX 512meg DDR4 Video Card

Be nice for a "hot to" write up on this. For example, does it take a certain type of monitor to be able to display the two side one like that ? I have toyed around with 3 monitors on my system and had no luck. I have 2 3780s and quad core. I'm sure i have the hardware. Just not figuring it out hehe.
Its so hard to see the 4 little WoWs on my second screen!

Unfortunately Im encountering the same problem with 2 8800s, Nvidia just doesnt want to recognize the monitors plugged into the 2nd card in SLI and not SLI.
