When does a group of Players become a Premade

I know for a fact that 5 people in AB is about the max u can do while still getting pugs but what im wondering is if 10 people group up for AV will they be pitted against premades or will it be pugs... I guess this is a question about how the determination between premade and Pug system works post 2.4 any help would be appreciated. FYI a friend and me are doing 5x shammy with a total of 10 ppl ;)

Well the group join function for AV only works up to 5 people, so to join with both groups you'll have to click it at the same time like in the old days.

Well, what I can tell you is that queuing for AB/WSG/EotS takes significantly less time with 4xShaman than when I fill the 5th slot or go over 5 people (with myself or a friend).

AV isn't significantly different from 1 character to 5 characters.

Even as a 4xShaman queue, I am the BG leader 97% of the time. It's a handy perk.

If you are group leader 99 percent of time you will be AV leader when going, unless another group leader joined before you.

Define premade. grp with 3 plus healers for wsg ab eye etc. (my define)

Premade = People working together to win, normally using Vent or some other voice communication system. They also fill the entire batteground usually.

This gets rid of teh random pug people (some of which are good, many of which just AFK out) Premade means you get people who want to WIN - not just play.Unless of course it's a premade losing team :P
