Is probably the most enjoyable time I've had 5-boxing so far. The instance is huge and there's a lot of tricks involved when trying to control all 5 guys. I've never cleared it before, so I had to learn all the in's and out's while wiping countless amounts of times. But the construction, story line and quest line of the entire dungeon kept me going.

Now I'm 56 and have to decide what to do next...Strat? LBRS? Scholo? DM? The possibilities are endless!

I went to BRD with a mixed group (warrior, pally, priest, warlock, hunter). I kinda got owned, since I wanted to operate my pally and almost no one could stop casters. It was work to have warlock banish. I had very little time to target/plan since there were quite a few blind corners or obstacles. It wasn't evil. I just didn't do as good as I should have. Next time it will be with a DPS main instead of my tank main. If I had any stop casting, it would have helped a lot. It won't be for years, but when my shammies go there, it will be laughable. And of course I stopped after 4 wipes on the room from hell. I couldn't get my tank to manuver up to get aggro on the mobs when they ranged my healer. So healer died, then rest just too longer to kill and then respawn and then ......

BRD -> LBRS -> Outlands worked for me.
yep thats what i did, worked very well for me. Could kill upto 3 bosses before at 56/57 and that was enough to get me farming it.
I did the onyxia chain so early in my crew i cant believe how easy it actually was, not sure why it seemed so hard at lvl60 when i was doing it.

Sometimes I wish you could turn off XP gain, like you could in EQ2 when I played it, so I can cram in BRD, BRS, DM, Strat and Scholo before I hit 58 and head for the Outlands.
55.5 now and just doubt I'll get a chance to do them all with this group!

You have to hit Scholo and Strat at least once. Both awesome instances that never get run anymore.Agreed. I spent most of 61 and 62 in Scholo and Strat, getting everybody keyed, doing the instance related quests, and basically remembering how much fun they were since it had been over a year since I had run them. Some of the quests are crazy experience, too. One of them you turn in somebody's head for around 15,000xp, then you talk to the guy in the inn 10 feet away for another 10,000xp, then you loot the chest behind him for another 15,000xp. So certainly worth doing from that standpoint. The instance mobs gave around 600xp each rested, so half of Ramparts but still quite good. Plus Dead Strat is one of the best places for an enchanter to farm eternals, illusion dust, and large brilliant shards (i.e. $$$, at least on my server). Tip: If you don't wear your argent dawn trinket for the three bosses in the Gauntlet (in the ziggurats), you get a green drop as well as a blue (might also be true for Ramstein and Baron, can't remember). If you wear the trinket the green drop is a scourgestone instead, so take it off on those bosses unless you really need the scourgestones.

For me, BRD was a nightmare that never ended. Only did about 20% of the instance, even at level 56 I was having issues. DM East was pretty easy though.

I wasn't able to do scholo/strath without getting a decent amount of Outlands gear, but they are incredibly fun. I would do UBRS but am too lazy to do the key quest. However, the scholo key quest did offer good XP and was easy.

Well, I decided to move onto LBRS at 56 (now 57), and it's been quite a challenge. At least this gives me a good opportunity for me to get some more/better macros going. It's also the first time I had to start using Sheeps. Once I figure out the instance I'll probably be 59 or 60, so it's gonna be really tempting to move right into the Outlands thereafter.

I'd have to say that moving from ST to BRD was a major ramp up in difficulty. I'm wondering how challenging the Outlands dungeons will be compared to this.
