I'm thinking of getting into this and i'd like a computer that can fully suporrt 5boxing. mine currently would need replaced.

Is there any "min computer builds" out there, also I haven't bought computer parts in a very long time, newegg still have the best deals?

any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to build a computer as "First" and my current will be 2nd, Running 3000+ 3 GB Ram 6600 256MB can run 5 Boxes on one Monitor in Middle Config but I'm going to et a Build for about 300 €

With 5000+ X2 Black Edition
8500 GT 1GB
3GB Ram DDR2 1066
and all the stuff you need for a computer

Wanna run 3 on this "new Comp" and 2 on my old comp (old can run 3 and still fraps and get no probs with fps or something, but wanna fraps with better Qualy, so I'm going to make 1 with shitty Graphics and one with a bit better to fraps this ;) ) Going to be nice, next Month will be my Mutliboxing Month^^

My is on 35-45 Even cities get a bit low, and when other players (more than 15) are appearing. but It's nothing for PvP, I'm only doing Instances so for this it's enough , but for 300 € I get a Second one, a good one should start @ 500 or something, to run all by itself. And depends on how are you stting them up, Are you using 1 Monitor, then you don't need much performance for it, because you see only 1, if your running 2 Monitos and setup your maximizer like 1 / 4(4 on second in "Split Screen") then you need more performance because you have displaxyd every wow client.

RAM is the Most Important thing. When your running Vista get so much you can it helps you, believe me^^ And you should get a Quad core or at least a dual core 1 core is a bit weak for multi tasking.

Your mileage may vary, but the cookie cuter 5-box single computer is something along the lines of:

Intel quad core Q6600
4 GBs memory, either 800 MHz or 1066 MHz
Nvidia 8800 GT

Those components should be relatively inexpensive at this time. That will give you 60 FPS on your main window with most video settings to high and about 30 FPS on your other windows with most video settings to low.

Also take into account that you need a 64 bit OS to fully utilize the 4 GBs of RAM.
