Sorry if this is already posted. I tried the search for Chain Lightning Setup and looked at the wiki too.
I am a total noob at making macros so I hope theres help to get.
What I am after is a macro that I can adjust from toon to toon so they take turn doing the chain lightning.
Thanks in advance

Am assuming 5 shamans:
On toon 1:
/castsequence chain lightning,,,,
On toon 2:
/castsequence ,chain lightning,,,
On toon 3:
/castsequence ,,chain lightning,,
On toon 4:
/castsequence ,,,chain lightning,
On toon 5:
/castsequence ,,,,chain lightning
Or just put your chain lightning hotkey on round robin in Keyclone. Same effect.
Why would you want to have each char do a chain lightning in turn? My shamans all have the same lightning macro:
/castsequence [reset = 6] chain lightning, lightning bolt, lightning bolt
This macro makes them all fire chain lightning at the same time, which will make you hit the enemy as hard as possible with your first cast and it will spread aggro over all your chars.

Anahka your spot on, however, sparvath if you add 'lightning bolt' after each , then that is exactly what your after!
I think this is it:
On toon 1:
/castsequence chain lightning,lightning bolt,lightning bolt,lightning bolt,lightning bolt
On toon 2:
/castsequence lightning bolt,chain lightning,lightning bolt,lightning bolt,lightning bolt
On toon 3:
/castsequence lightning bolt,lightning bolt,chain lightning,lightning bolt,lightning bolt
On toon 4:
/castsequence lightning bolt,lightning bolt,lightning bolt,chain lightning,lightning bolt
On toon 5:
/castsequence lightning bolt,lightning bolt,lightning bolt,lightning bolt,chain lightning
I'd recommend adding a reset condition to majestic's macro's, because macro's across multiple toons will very easily go out of sync.

Thx for your help all. Gonna try it out tonight.
Still odd I cant find the old post with the macros. I know I have seen one earlier.
While not directly Multi-boxing macros Cogwheel's on WoW's UI & Macros forum put together a great macro writing guide aimed at beginners. Check it out, there's some good info in there and you may learn a few things you didn't even know you could do.
