Hi,

I am new to this whole multiboxing thing, have 2 accounts and 2 computers..

I tried to set up keyclone last night.. connected the 2 together and when I push a key on one computer the other computer does nothing.. do I need keymapping set up ?

Can someone please explain this to me in basic terms as I am a bit confused about it ?

just now I have 2 keyboards which is not ideal.. a few macros set up to set my priest to follow my warrior.. heal.. smite his target etc but it would be better to do this all from one keyboard

also,

Looting from my second player.. how is this done with keyclone ? like for gather quests.. I am getting quite fast with the 2 keyboard combo but admittedly it is a pain in the ass lol..

cheers :)

1) Posted in the wrong forum there is a dedicated software forum, this may be why people might of not seen it being mixed with general things
2) Bumping a thread after 2 hours isnt really smart.

Keyclone is a one off and for life $20 licence, if it says 'bad formatting', have to got the licence?

(Moving Thread to software forum)

i can't move the post now, can you move it to the right forum please?

it doesn't say anything and yes

i can connect the 2 machines together but when i push the keys but when i do it does not pass through to the other machine, because they are both connected through my router do you think id need to open ports on it or would that make no difference because they have managed to connect to each other ?

I am very new to this so maybe a simple setting I haven't set?

it's all at defaults with the newest keyclone

cheers

Firewall sometime does it, I had a problem with windows firewall (turning it off helps, I didn't even know it was on, lol)
I did a search and didnt find anything specific regarding firewall ports, I would recommend seeing 'Keyclone's' input

RE Your PM: (btw this thread was moved when I replied the 1st time, so no worries dude)

good moring Rooh,

first, you'll need a keyclone license for both machines. once keyclone is active on both machines, you should be able to connect them.. run your wows... hit space bar.. and see them both jump. no need for keymaps.

if you do not see them jump, then you have a different problem. as MC suggested, check your firewall.

if you are still have problems, please feel free to drop me a PM and i'll do what i can to get you up and running.

have a great day,

Rob
