When to goto what instance?

I have played since release, but was mostly a solo/duo player.. so never went to placed like SM... was wondering what lvl should i hit up isntances?

I am 5x31 on the shams now.. and can i do SM at this point? or where should i head next? already did gnomer and RFK...

Wow you missed alot then :P As a boxer you can lvl in graveyard easy...you MIGHT be able to take Library but I'd wait till 32 for the next set of skills to make sure you survive it; you could do Gnomer too but that's if you have the sanity for it, mostpeople don't, I'm probably the only one who ALWAYS runs gnomer on each char at/around-level cuz the quests + rewards are good(Alliance-side, anyways) lol

Being Lv 47 now, I know that the early 30's are a little tricky.

RFK/Gnomer go up to around 29, and SM Library is 33/34, with a 35 boss. So what are you supposed to do between let's say 29-31?
I personally ran the SM Graveyard about 10-12 times. Got about 1/4 level each run, so I just had to persevere until I could do a full Library run.

Going from Uldaman -> ZF was also tough, since the boss in Ulda was 40, and the trash in ZF was 43-45.

From Level 30 onward, here was my instance progression:
30-32 - SM Graveyard
33-34 - SM Graveyard/Library
35-36 - SM Library/Armory
37-38 - Razorfen Downs (could have done this earlier, but was having too much fun in SM)
38-39 - SM Armory/Cathedral
39-41 - Uldaman (gives a TON of quest XP, I probably should have stayed here until 42)
41-44 - Zul'Farrak (going in at 41 was too low, but I still made it through enough to level)
44-47 - Maraudon

SM can be done a lot earlier ;) Doan is Possible on 31 /30 and Herod on 33/ 32

you guys actually leveling in instances? im using joana's guide and just hitting instances to have some fun?

Alot of them do grind in instances...not that I blame them, it's great exp, just boring as fuck. I personally live on nothing but quests, and I run each instance once-twice(except SM cuz it has great caster gear + exp) at the appropriate levels to keep the monotony down.

Instance grinding has been infinitely easier since the 2.3 patch, at least up until this point. Before the patch, I had to run each instance 6-8 times before I was ready for the next one. Now it's more like 2-3 runs. Win.
