Keyclone problem

I just bought Keyclone have set it up and got it working, but I am getting disconnects on the second instance of wow, i am running a core 2 and a 8800 gts with win xp, when I run two windows alt tabing between the two I get no disconnects, when running Keyclone I get server disconects, anyone else had this problem and got a fix for it?.

do you disconnect when using the elevator (UC) (TB) taking the blimp, or entering an instance? If so there are known issues with auto follow. If I don't turn off auto follow when on the blimp or elevator some of my clients will disconnect, I must turn off auto follow once I get on. (I don't use Keyclone) but the auto follow thing is a wow bug.

although i have never seen the disconnect bug, i have been reading about it. my guess is that its related to being afk.. sort of. since you were alt-tabbing before, you were constantly pushing keys into that clone. (just tabbing into the clone pushing events to the window)

does it normally happen on a long run where you are not passing any keys to the clones... they are just in follow mode?

if so.. try 'poking' them once in a while, like every 30 seconds or so while running. just hit some key thats not on the do-not-pass list, maybe a movement key or something.

let us know what happens.

Press space bar to jump on both wow windows every once in a while. You should be fine.

Its happening at different times could be 5 min, could be 2, as for alt tabbing, I could run for ages with a low lvl and a main not even going into the the alt window and it did not disconnect, I will try the jumpin thing, but I have an assist macro so everytime the main fires tha alt also fires a spell would this not be enough to stop the clone window thinking I'm afk?.

would it be enough? it should be... but then again i am just guessing. i haven't seen it personally. i have been disconnected... but that's due to crappy bandwidth when i'm on the road. while on my home bandwidth, it just keeps rolling.

It was happening a fair bit to me aswell. Would never get any disconnects on the main toon only the follower. I read somewhere in another thread about makign sure Vertical Sync is set to ON in the wow Video Options. Then that seemed to help for me.

i have read that blizzard was aware of the problem and was working on it... implying its a warcraft issue and not a keyclone issue. but the account here makes me wonder.

there is no reason why keyclone would somehow shutdown the clone...

I consistantly run 3 instances of WoW on my box, Last weekend I was having problems with the 3rd instance disconnecting but the other two being fine. I also had problems with that third instance crashing the client...

Are you running on 2 totally separate copies of WoW or off the same installed files?

Im running of the same installation on different drives, I just copied them over.

Did Bliz not implement some code in a recent patch to detect automation software?, could their detection code be somehow affecting the mechanism that keyclone uses?.

Blizz's method for scanning for automation can be updated anytime you are connected to game, not just after patches. People seem to be getting these problems after they install certain Windows Updates - so as a temporary fix a rollback might be in order until we can find out exactly which update it is thats causing it and then implement some sort of work-round.

Ok I think I have found the problem, I cant minimize the alt window, when I do it disconects the client, I am going to trial 4 at the weekend, and if my second pc can handle(only got it set up today) it 5 or 6.

I would love a feature unless its already there and I dont know how to use it, press key one on the main window and I could set different keys for each window, so I could press the one key, this would press the two key in window two, the three key in window three or whatever key I have set, etc.
