I still have incredibly slow focus switches using Keyclone's PiP BOOBS switch. It takes 10-20 seconds from when I hit the keybind till I can actually use the new focus window. Any suggestions? It's getting really frustrating in AV... basically when my main dies I'm screwed. My setup is the following:
5-boxing 1 PC
Quad Core
4gb RAM
8800GT 512mb
1 hard drive 7200rpm
1 WoW folder for all instances of WoW, no links or anything

hmmm.. the speed on switch is due to wow re-rendering for the new size. if you have 2 windows of exactly the same size, the swap time is instant. so, it comes down to improving performance for the swap.
try reducing your screen res.. less pixels does help
and with that, try reducing your fps... leaving more cycles for the gpu/cpu and bus-bandwidth
also, try reducing the details you are rending:
wow in-game graphic detail macros (helps performance) ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=6521')
i run all my wows on low detail. i get poor swap performance in orgrimmar (10+seconds), but in the barrens, its about 2 seconds. (i'm also 5 boxing on an amd 3800+ single core w/ 3G of memory @ 1280x1024x2 in horizontal span)
let me know if that helps

i have to double check, but I think I have them all running at 800x600 resolution. I'll also lower some of the overall detail as well, i'll report back later.

by resolution, i meant the overall screen res.. total pixels pushed per second is what you'd be looking to reduce.
after that, tweak it up and see what you get for an effect
