First of all, thanks for this awesome forum. I started trying to dual-box last night to give it a go. Got Keyclone working fine. I'm having a little problem with maximizer, though.
I only have one monitor, 1680x1050 resolution. First I tried having the two windows on top of each other, with the main window a bit bigger. 1680x700, with the secondary window sized 1680x350. I input these into maximizer and fired up both wows (using the command options). The physical sizes on the screen were fine, but they were stretched really weirdly, such that everything seemed really fat. I tried changing resoultions for both regions. First using 800x600, which was the default. I then tried the 1:1 option, which gave black bars on the side. I tried typing in 1680x700 and 1680x350, but that didn't look good either.
I realize my monitor has an aspect ratio of 1.6, and I did get it to not be stretched when I typed in two sizes that had this aspect ratio, but that results in not using the whole width of the monitor (same as when using the 1:1 option). Is there a way to have windows at, say, 1680x700 and 1680x350, without this stretching effect? It would be nice to have both screens look nice on one monitor, as I doubt my wife will be convinced of the need to buy another one :)
Thanks!
