Hi. New to multiboxing and almost gave it up until I found this site. Now I'm hooked. Thanks guys... ;)

Anyway I've done a bit of dual boxing in the past but got bored with it since I still needed other people. I ended up using 3 trial accounts to see how 5 would fare (I already had two accounts) and all worked well. Now I have a 5-man on Skyfall.

1xPaladin, 1xPriest, 3xMage

They are level 10 as of today and hopefully will get a few more before the nights end. I was going to start on Mag but I've only ever leveled on PvP and I know if I saw a 5 man running around I'd camp em. I want to play with PvE mostly anyway and Skyfall fits that.

I went with 1 male dwarf for the paladin and a female NE priest, female draenei, human, and gnome mages. Kinda funny with a stubby little male dwarf and a parade of women behind him. Hah!

My set up is a Mac Pro 2x2.0 Dual core (so I have 4 processors), 6 GB of RAM, 2 20 inch screens, and 512 MB of VRAM on an ATI 1900 XT. I run my paladin on the main screen capped at 30FPS on purpose and the 4 other ones on the secondary screen capped at 10FPS since I rarely look at them.

I code for a living so I'm loving figuring out the macros and possibly doing more LUA (I've written a few mods for personal use).

Anyway... here is a screenie of them from a bit ago. I finally got a guild tag on them. I named the guild, "Five Piece Set Bonus". It made me laugh so I went with it.

Very cool...

The only thing I would suggest, I would suggest changing one of the mages to another class... maybe a warlock or shaman.

At least, if I was to do it all over again, (and I have a Paly, Shaman Healer and 3 Mages), I would change one of the mages to another class.

3x Mages
Lots of AOE, DPS, 3 CC makes most encounters very easy

2x Mages and another Class
Not as much AOE power, but still a lot. DPS, 2 CC is enough for most. The other class would add more buffs, a Warlock would add an off-tank.

Just something to consider... just an opinion.

Either way, you're going to have a blast!

I have a 50 something alliance lock on another server I could xfer if need be once I got up that high. For now I'll stick with what I have otherwise I'll never get anywhere... :( That and I'm already confused enough as it is! :P

Welcome :)

1xPaladin, 1xPriest, 3xMage
I'm going this same route on my "side project". I've rolled three mages and I'm leveling them to 8. They'll be joined by a paladin and then boosted by my rogue. The rogue will eventually be replaced by the priest I have parked at 60 on that account. I also have a 63 shaman there so I could swap out one of the mages with a quick account-to-account transfer.

I've also started this team on my PVE server. My main team is on a PVP server but aren't high enough level to have had any trouble yet.
