I've been interested in boxing my Rogue and my Priest together whilst levelling during Wrath of the Lich King and I wanted to ask some advice.

Most of the threads I have seen regarding the picture in picture feature of Maximiser show a picture next to a picture. In certain instances, such as when a player has 4 characters, this works well with one main area showing the main character and three smaller windows spanning one side representing the other characters. With two characters it doesnt quite look as good. Some show black areas of the screen, some show the desktop behind, and others distort the windows in an attempt to squeeze it all in.

Is it possible to have one character shown inside the window of another character as it is shown in this picture ('http://november-guild.co.uk/images/pictureinpicture.jpg')?

If not can anyone come up with a decent solution for a two character setup that doesn't waste so much screen estate?

I spent last week playing a rogue/priest setup. I used Hotkeynet (http://hotkeynet.com) and played both characters at 1920x1200 on one monitor, using a hotkey to toggle windows. This works great for me and I highly recommend it.

Edit: Oops, did not notice the Keyclone tag at first. Apologies to Rob! :S

Howdy Taelan and welcome to the forums!

with keyclone, you can currently set 1 window to always be on top, thereby giving you that look. but if you pip swap it, you would want the 'topness' to swap as well.. and it's not associated with the region, but with the window.

i put it on the list... to move the 'always on top' from the command to the region. this should work as you expect
