Archimonde?

You do know there are 3 alliance 5-boxers on Archi -- myself, suvega, and headspin.

Keyclone ('http://solidice.com/keyclone/') worth every one of the 2000 pennies ($20) and the best support you can get :D

and plenty of in game macros of course

8 hours level 10...

Does keyclone support the ability to press 2 keys when I press 1 on my master?

Like if I cast a spell say the number 2, and = is my assist key; is there any way I can make it press = then 2 on the slaves?

No but you can replace spell hotkeys with macros that /assist then cast that spell :p

now.. the wording is a bit unusual.. (seems like you are asking to flip the order of the keys... but i doubt that)

so... assuming you mean:
"can keyclone allow me to hit '=' to have all my characters do the assist macro.. then '2' to fire the fireball?"

the answer is yes. that is its primary job.

all the windows you ask it to manage will receive any key you hit in any one of the windows (there are varying details here.. do-not-pass & round-robin lists.. keymaps.. mouse-maps... but that's beyond the basics)

so.. run 3 wows... click on one of them... hit '=' .. see /assist happen on the other 2.. hit '2' .. and watch the cute little bunny get toasted
(bunny-nuggets!)

of course.. there are better ways to do this.. using focus and [target=focustarget] instead of powers directly from the spellbook... but i think you get the idea

if you have any other questions, please feel free to drop me a note.

Rob I figure he's asking to do what Sorn did with his AHK script basically; hit assist hotkey and the spell hotkey in the same keypress, 2 in 1; just how I understood it though, if I misunderstood, apologies ;p

Yeah basically when I hit '2' it hits '=' and then '2' on all other windows but the main.

So I don't have to sit there and press '=' '2' '=' '2' back and forth because I like simple grinding, I wouldn't want to pay for keyclone if it doesn't have an ability I deem necessary.

As I said you can use the ingame macro system to make all spellcasts /assist as well then you'd free up = for another hotkey :p Multiple keypresses for a single button-hit isn't something blizz likes too much, but via macro it's not technically 2 keypresses, just 2 commands and they let people load up commands all they want in macros

That's a lot of macros to write up, is there any way I can write the macros for one then copy them to all slaves? Or edit them out of game?

Eteocles

Yeah you can basically write one up then copy and paste it into the others, just changing the spell names where necessary; basically comes down to

/assist Name/Focus/whatever you use
/cast SpellNameHereWithProper:Capitalization (Rank # being optional and in parenthesis like this; if Rank is not used, it defaults to max rank of spell)

/assist Eteocles
/cast Moonfire

Copy/paste/rename:
/assist Eteocles
/cast Teleport: Moonglade

etc; can keep a master copy in notepad to edit and copy/paste from since you can paste into wow

I'm only running one screen right now so yeah, can barely see with 4 320x320 tiny windows on the bottom.

Was hoping there was an out of game macro, or someone knew the file the macros were saved in so I could write them up on my main then copy paste them all.

Could be possible, but I dunno what file...Falkor's most likely to know that I'd guess lol

Yupyup. Since I use more mods, I like to just copy-paste the individual "accountname" folders and renaming as appropriate. I then re-name the "charname" folder beneath each account to the appropriate charnames for each acct. That way all of my mods show up in the same places on the screen.
