New to boxing only last night actually started to play three boxed :)
I have a prot pally i tank alot on as my main and have 2 warlocks i box with (1st warlock was my main, 2nd is a freshly dinged lock). When I pvp my lock is the main toon and have the pally + the other lock as the clones. I will respec my tank to a "shockadin" for when I run bg's /arena. Now I setupp thh pally's ui purely for multi-boxing and complementary spells to the lock.
Obviously now when I go to play my pally as a tank (different wow install and ui) all his bindings will be completly different. How should I handle this as it would be ideal to keep the shockadin/box ui and bindings as they are? I was thinking that for my tanking Ui I would use bongos action bars that are beyond the boxing ui eg action bars 10+ I would still have to rebind each time I load the different ui though wouldn't I? i dont want to tank as a "clicker" and have become very comfortable with my tank bindings.
Is there a way to save keybindings for different Ui setups as a Load on demand style?????

I use TrinityBars for this very reason -- it gives you the option to load and save templates, which include macros/keybindings/button layouts.

How about making another copy of your wow map and playing solo on that one?

Unsure what u mean by this sorry forgive me new to this side of things in wow. I have multi game installs but if i change the bindings and spell placement on one install it will change them for the other install as well, unsure if i explained that best :(

Well when I play any of my characters solo, I just use the same bindings and UI layout. The only thing I have to do is focus that character on itself and all the macros work just as they would in a group setting. Unfortunately that doesn't really help with a respec and different playstyle.
In that situation I would set up additional action bar sets using Trinity Bars and just load whichever template I wanted to use. I haven't tested it, but I believe keybindings to the action bars will save with each template, so that should handle the switching.
Now I'm not completely certain about this next part but... The UI used to be limited to 120 buttons, or 10 bars of 12 buttons the way the default UI arranges them. A recent revision to the UI system got rid of this limitation I thought. This should allow you to set up one template with the first 120 buttons (or however many you need), then set up a second group that are for action button 121-240. What this would be important for is that spell/macro action button locations are stored server side.
The only thing I see as a hassle if when you respec and lose talent abilities, they'll be unmapped from action buttons. These will have to be set up each time. I suppose one way around that issue is to make a macro for all talent spells. Those won't be force removed from your bars.
And just a warning, pretty much all of that above is unconfirmed. Sorry if any is wrong or doesn't make sense, but it's coming up on after-lunch-I-really-want-to-take-a-nap time...

Trinity, as far as bar mods go, is relatively straightforward. You can use it straight out of the box, or set up additional bars by clicking on the little green circle next to your minimap (4 additional buttons pop out).
To save a template, right-click on the minimap icon. You can set your keybindings with the green key button, and edit spells/macros/items/abilities by using the white keyboard-looking button.
Another advantage of Trinity is the extended length for macros -- it allows for more characters than the in-game /macro system.
Minty is right, though. If you use /focus for your targeting, you can just /focus yourself and all the buttons will work. You'll have to re-bind the "wasd" keys if you have them unbound, though.

Cheers for the reply so much appreciated. I can see the focus set to self would work and might do that when/if I play one of the warlocks solo. But for the pally with the respeccing, it will have to be done via trinity it seems, off to go set this up thanks again multiboxing ccommunity.

You can clone your WoW directory using symbolic linking (see the wiki) so that you have one setup for solo play and others for multiboxing. That way you can use whatever mods you want. (Not that there's anything wrong with Trinity.)

Just quickly put trinity into my ui setup (phototek ui base) and I am unsure how to "save" a set of action bars with keybindings. I have attached a pic below to explain what I want to do and where I am at.

You're on the wrong menu ;) You want the trinity main menu, which is just right-clicking on the center icon (looks like blue druid flightform icon) that's on your minimap. It should bring up a big huge window with 3 options -- one of them is to get/set templates.
What you want to do is delete everything you don't need for your shockadin spec (including keybindings) -- then go to the template saving page and save it as something like "ShockadinSpec".
Then delete everything you don't need for your regular spec (including keybindings) -- then go to the template saving page and save it as "RegularSpec" or whatnot.
When you want to swap between them, just go to the template options (by right clicking on that same center druid flightform icon), choose the template in the dropdown menu, and load it up. All your keybindings, macros, and button placements will be in the correct places just like when you saved them. :)

Oh yeah I was looking for this Bars since I've seen them in a video some time ago. Thanks for that, and the template thing looks quite comfortable.

Works a treat thankyou very much EXACTLY what I was searching for, trying to find out this latest bug when editing a set of trinity bars it is mirroring placement on the first row to the 2nd row. Other than that this is perfect TY!!
