So I was thinking today about the upcoming expansion and how they are going to be rebalancing the classes. Which got me wondering if Shammy is still going to as much of a Multiboxing power house in WotLK. So since I have only been MB-ing for a couple of month now, I am wondering were there people multiboxing before The Burning Crusade? If so what Shammy the class of choice for multiboxing then? Also do you think they will still be viable in WotLK? I am think they probably will. I think they are so good for multiboxing because you have a solid DPS caster class that can heal, wear mail, and has buffs/skills that do their thing without much user attention. Add this to the fact they can melee pretty well in a pinch and you have multiboxing heaven. So let me know what you think, comments and debate are always welcome :D

As long as they can heal, cast lighting, wear mail and a shield I think they'll be viable for a very long time

Don't forget res, self-res, insta-shock, and windfury etc...they were gods pre-bc and are still very good now and aren't likely to become bad anytime soon
