I can not seem to get my /follow [target=Char1name,nodead] macro to work.... It keeps giving me an "unknown unit" error. Does any one know what Im doing wrong here?

Did you replace "Char1name" by the name of the unit that you're trying to follow?

I did.

/follow [target=Aarrinah, nodead]

I had my character name in the macro, and im sure its spelled correctly... Yet I keep getting a "unknown unit" error. Is there a space or a cap im missing or mistake syantax?

I'm really feeling retarded here, lol. I can not find where i'm going wrong, and its driving me loopy.

Being that the character I want followed is named Aarrinah, I did the following macro...

/follow [target=Aarrinah, nodead]

When used it just gives me the "unknown unit" error.. if I just type "/follow Aarrinah" it works. I want to use this as part of my macro setup to change mains being followed when the lead dies.

I just tried several variations and had no luck as well using the macro type you were trying to do. I'm not sure you can put that type of stuff in a /follow line, I've always had to

/targetexact [nodead] Char1Name

/follow

It seems a bit silly, but for me having the chars grouped fixes the problem. Are your chars grouped when you get this error?
