Did my first instance with my 5 box yesterday (4 lvl 9 sham and a 26 pally). I thought it was going to be easy. The only thing i can say is that i have even more respect for people that do heroics and for the 2 boxers that are doing kara. Even with the lvl 26 there i was still having problems, could only pull 2 mobs at a time if i pull 3 i come close to dieing. One problem that i found out was the mana pool that my shams had. I could only take out 2 mobs back to back before they where oom. I was also having trouble healing the pally. On a good note, lucky that my pally isn't too high and i am learning how to work as a group without worrying too much. Thinking about farming that place until the mobs go gray to the shams and then try sfk (any thoughts)?

Just 2 questions on healing, right now when i want to heal 1 sham heals and the other 3 casts bolts. Should i have it so that all 4 shams heal then go back to bolts or should i just spam bolt and have pally heal self?

I'll search the forms to see if can find any posts for noobs in instances.

I thinking it will get easier when i get better totems and have better spells.

I honestly have no advice for RFC.. I was too scared to try it without my healing stream totems, that I waited to instance until level 20. Don't get discouraged, it takes a little while for Shaman to become bad ass. Once you've got your totems, it gets much easier. Hang in there!

Didn't touch a single instance until 20, quests in the starting area give massive xp and are quick to do.

I started Instancing with 13(Tankadin 16 cause of Righteous Fury) but @ 14 you get the new Lightning Bolt that helps a lot.

I think level9 is to low for the place, evenw ith a higher lvl. The shammies are likely to pull agro from great distances.

I cleared RFC at level 11x5 with 4 shaman and a warrior.

It was tough. I wiped twice and came close to wiping a lot of times.

I dinged 12, suddenly it was like, 10 times easier.

My advise, go there once your shammies are 12+ xD

I'd wait till level 10 on your shaman. The rock elemental are nature resistant.

I cleared the place with 1 druid/4 shaman team at lv 13 but with difficulty. Once you hit 14 you get the new lightning bolt, which as stated earlier helps a ton.

Once at 14 I was able to do clear the place much much easier.

Cleared it yesterday with the sham at lvl 11 and pally lvl 26. Glad that my pally was a higher lvl, wasn't too much over powered but didn't have to worry about healing too much. Got about little less then a lvl clearing RCF. Turning in the 5 quests that where in there got the rest of lvl 12 and put me to lvl 13. I think that i have a better understanding about instances with multi boxing. Probably going to stick to RCF until like around lvl 18 then try SFK. This might be a little tougher though, the pally wont be that much higher then the mobs, but at least my sham will have better skills.

I know that questing will probably be faster to lvl, but trying to lvl enchanting on the 4 shams, better drop rate for greens and blues in instances then questing i think.

I got through on 14 without too much trouble.

Flame shock came in handy for the rock elementals.

See my post above. Coincidentally answered your questions (that plus melee despatches 'em pretty quick).

i been playing too late and am too tired when i play, i went back in and had no prob with the elementals last night... used earth shock though, will try again with flame... BUT i got to the end of the first bridge, and i can't hang with the 3 pulls.... it might come down to my shams having like 3 pieces of gear each...
