Dirjax & Dirjàx make their appearance :D

starting out dual boxing because i just wanted another approach to fill even more time in my schedule ;)

started out with this combination having instances in mind, dirjax (druid) will be able to dps/tank and dirjàx (shammie) will go resto to support the druid.

not too much time due to rl (2 cute kids, work, gf...) and raiding schedule (3days/week, and 1-2 offdays). until now (lvl 7) most of the work has gone into UI, redoing keybindings for my other chars.

in any case I noticed i'm not alone on my realm and i'll be bugging "raylion" as soon as i'm stuck with things ;)

tried a bit more of dualboxing, done quite a few fun things on my already leveled priest & warrior but....

taking off the training wheels week - got three 10-day trials 2 days ago.
starting the following team:
blood elf paladin tank (bérnon)
tauren shammy healer (xarínda)
3x tauren hunter (variations on dirjax)

I'll keep a small journal here of what goes on in my 5-box experience :)

day one:
reinstalling wow, getting a fresh install and using vista's symbolic linking for the 5 wow accounts :thumbup:
start of setting up user interface and keybindings (trinity, pitbull, autobar and loads of other stuff)
paladin fixed :sleeping:

day two
getting my blood elf to the tauren starting area :thumbup:
more interface & keybind setting up for the shammy :thumbsup:
putting up keybindings for hunters, set up my G15 keys to use combinations of <alt>+<ctrl>+....
putting up macro for the hunters to take warstomp in turns :thumbup:
conflicts with G15 sended keys and the "..." key also being used for another function on the pala... needs more work X(
not happy with it... :sleeping:

day three
posting re-hay hay on dual-boxing... and browsing for G15 solution. :D

It's actually grid (which i'll be getting rid of again)
don't have time and patience to set it up like i'd want it at the moment, got bigger (tauren pun) things to set up :)

whooot....
tidying up my keyboard lay out has led to some strange stuff but.. *shrug*
less keys to play with equals more keys to play with

i actually am using only 7 letters anymore of the regular dutch alphabet (the known 26 a-z stuff)
that leaves out ... 19 other letters, and oh look, the G15 only needs 18 free :thumbsup:

*fixed* my G15 problem :thumbsup:
now, off to follow/accept/invite macro's, getting rid of grid, redoing the bindings-cache.wtf of my alts (still on more or less standard) and i'm off in the hard world of ... razorback lowbies ;)
with all the testing the toons did advance a level so basically:
hunters & shammie lvl 2
pala (due to the long walk from silvermoon -> mulgore) lvl 3

can't wait till lvl 7 for my pala, he has a nice little green sword stashed away with crusader on it *grin*
who knows that's tonight already 8)

decided to neglect the few overlapping keys in my and... went very very nice.
three hunters just one-two shot everything in the starter area's so my pala and shammie haven't done much till now.

well, they are resting in mulgore now, we'll see how they do tonight.

probably ordering my 3 extra wow boxes today and step out of the trial accs :)

[day6-present] (had a few days out with the missus as well ;) )

The forums been a GREAT help in setting up my macro's, thank you a great deal for the hunter macro's (which i barely use till now, but still a very nice read) and the no focus manifesto :)

in any case, this will be my last post in the welcome thread :)

levelling 1-10 was cake with the hunters blowing down everything just on their early quest rewards, 10-14 needed some macro'ing (aimed shot and slight pet control), and then again.. a blast :)
now 14, and started out RFC up to the dead tauren (if i wasn't as tired last night I would've gone and clear). time for pet-tanking macros and a decent targetting for my healer (will probably be using <shift>-Fkey for the non healers)
after that... i'm off to instance grinding
will be trying to capture some stuff as well soon enough ;)

Hehe...replied on another thread but just noticed this one too....really nice to have another boxer on Bronzebeard. My guild is Shadow and is just me and a friend I've known when we used to raid together on Alliance side (Raylion was my lock on Alliance). Concidentally, my friend is just starting a boxing team too (a pally and 4 priests) and we'll also both be levelling drood ganking teams to raid Alliance cities (heh!). I don't PVP/BG with my boxing teams but the idea of stealthing into Stormwind's BG room, dropping 30 treants and nuking like mad men is too tempting to pass up!

We will also be actively raiding come WotLK so I'm sure we can make space in some of our raid attempts if you ever fancy it.

Anyway, feel free to whisper me :-) My team lead characters are Sigilon, Clovus, Klovus and Alvaru.

aha... so it was you with the shammy team

had a talk with your friend the other day, after he portaled my team to shatt ;)
he was also talking about another (or you again) boxer that was going to start a full lock team.

i'll update the wiki soon as there's still the dual box team, but ... gave that one up :)
