Hey everyone

I am hoping to get some advice from some of the more experienced boxers out there. I got my posie of 4 to Outland last week and hit level 60. I noticed immediate the massive XP jump need per level after 60 (since 2.3). So I have been working on quests. The thing is I am almost done with all the quests in Hellfire and I am guessing I will only have my toons to level 61 by the time I leave this zone. When I have done this zone single toon style usually I have been 62 pushing, if not, 63. So I am concerned at this point that I will run out of quests before hitting 70.
I have tried running Ramparts which has been painful. I play multiple classes which I think gives me better balance but only going in with 4 toons, I can really feel the need for a 5th. Getting people, even in my guild, to come with me so far hasn't been very productive. So I am wondering if I can make it to 70 with just doing quest? or would it still be worthwhile to hit Ramparts maybe at like level 63-64 where I am high enough the mobs wouldn't be such beasts?
Part of what makes me want to look at instances is:

They are cool
Great loot
I average between 1000-1500xp per kill in an instance whereas I am getting between 300-400 outside of instances

So any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. :D :D :D

Thanks

I would highly suggest doing all the quests in the 58-60 areas of Azeroth as you can. The mobs are incredibly weak, especially if you have outlands gear, and it will net you quite a bit of xp. Outside of that, instance running for XP and questing as normal.

Don't know if this is off subject or anything. BC equipment is a lot better the pre-bc gear. If one wants to do AV at 60 do you think it would be a good idea to do the quests in hellfire at 58 to get some good gear and then at 60 go to AV. Or grind on outlands mobs and instances and hope for good drops till 60 then do AV., so once you are done farming AV all the outland quests are still there.

This is why its important to stay in Azeroth until 60 when boxing. The XP nerf from grouping will make it difficult to level on just quests alone. I had the exact same problem. :)

If you can handle grinding instances, its an excellent way to make up the "missing" XP, and get osme gear to boot. I had done all the instances up to Shettek Halls too many times already, so I couldn't stomach doing them all again for grinding reasons.

I just quested my arse off until 70.

If you enjoy the lower instances - by all means grind the heck out of them! It means more quests will be avilable at 70 to turn directly into gold. :D
So are you saying you can't hit 70 with just quests alone if you started Outland at 58? or is it just much harder?

Thanks

So let me ask you this. If I wanted to level faster would it be more effecient to break my 4 up into say groups of 2? That way you dont get as heavy of an XP nerf? Then I could then come back and do the instances to help them catch up? or just follow suit and just pair off into teams or something of the like. What do you think?

I think I get what you mean out of curiosity how long did it take you to do from 60 to 70 Fur??
