So I decided to get +25 agi on 2h on my 19 hunter twinks (x4).
Need to get 40 large brilliant shards, and a buttload of other enchanting mats.

Not sure where the best place to farm large brilliants is.

I have an S3 geared 70 hunter with high dps.. what do you think?

Steamvaults, by far is very easily farmable, not sure weather or not solo by 3 hunters however, might want to find some mates to tank and heal :/
4 shards per 30-40mins max.
I farm it on my bal. druid and 4ele shamans all the time.

Here is a list of items that can be disenchanted for a chance at a Large Brilliant Shard: http://wowdigger.com/item/view/14344/large-brilliant-shard#i2

Should give you a decent idea on where you need to go, or what you need to craft in order to DE for Large Brilliants.

Good luck!

Scholomance, or a Full strath clear, whichever's easier for you(probably scholo) hands down. Scholo bosses all drop things that DE into large brills fairly reliably, there's alot of bosses and not a whole lot of trash outside of the boss rooms themselves(Just skip Jandice, she's not worth it man); you can get 8-12 per run of either, and Scholo also provides stuff like Darkrunes(which raiders eat up off the AH like candy), while Strath might drop some Righteous Orbs which still sell well to twinks for Crusader

" Scholomance"

Thanks.

Yeah the reason I put Scholo higher is that overall, it's shorter/easier; the bosses are all packed together, the trash is a joke and even leads to extra/optional bosses like the Gargoyle(+ the spectres in the front room drop Lifestealing enchants), whereas Strath is crammed fuller than of undead than a graveyard, half of which are casters then the patrolling aboms(and the boring-ass gauntlet before baron himself) and should you use any form of aoe you'll probably aggro Spectral Citizens which have enough dodge/resist rate to make a hit-capped Raider cry. Just as effective, but simply easier/quicker for scholo for most people lol, especially a solo'er; boxer, I Dunno :P

Scholo doesn't seem to drop as many blues as it used to.

I was farming LBS's for Brilliant Mana Oil with a warrior friend of mine...we'd get about 10 per run of Baron-side Strat...plus the clear was super fast.

Dunno about you guys but Undead Strath was WAY easier than scholo for me. Last night I managed a Baron run in less than 45 minutes, and that was taking it easy no rushing. I don't have enchanting yet, but you get a crapload of blues and greens from one run. So I wound up vendoring the stuff, got about 50g total, and an assload of runecloth. This was on my 4 63 hunters.

Scholo just sucks, I hate that place so bad....

Any blue drop from a boss in Strath or Scholo is going to give you Large Brilliant Shards. I cleared Strath the other night, except the Baron, he stomped me in the ground, but I got 11 shards, 3 orbs, 2 or 3 enchanting recipes and 2 or 3 D1 pieces. As for the D1 pieces, they will DE into the shards you are looking for but if you have a little patience, sell them and then buy multiple shards. The pieces go for 3 to 4 times what a shard will on my server. The orbs are also worth very good money, I sold two for 34g a piece and based on things I'd seen, I put a third one up for 50g bid/100g buy. It sold for 100g.

I saw Fursphere mentioned BRD but just having recenlty cleared that several times, I wouldn't suggest it unless you just stick to the bar side of the instance. The bosses in the areas not needing a key except the last two, generally did not result in large brilliant shards for me.

For LBS, I have found BRD the best spot. Here is briefly what I do. This is assuming you have the shadowforge key. I have done these runs on both a 70 hunter and a 70 rogue. On the rogue, I could get about 15 lbs and at least 10 sbs an hour.

Zone into BRD. Dismiss your pet. Walk 20 feet and unlock the door to your left with the SFkey. Walk about 30 feet and unlock the door to your right. Walk 15 feet and unlock that door. This room contains the unlocking mechanism. Don't unlock it. Head up the stairs and toward the arena. Go 1/2 around the circle and go through the door. To your right is Pyromancer Loregrain. Avoid the groups leading to him. Watch out for fire elemental pats. When you get to Loregrain, bring pet out and dps him down. Kill the other 2 mobs that are with them, Watch out they run. He only drops a blue that gives a sbs, but he has 16% drop fiery weapon recipe. Depending on your server, you can sell this for 30-100g.

Dismiss pet. Then head back down the hallway hugging the walls, avoiding groups and pats. Cross the bridge. When you cross it, 3 iron forge dwarves spawn. The doorway contains about 4 mobs. Run through this group, so you will now have 7 mobs on you (as a rogue, easy to stealth past the group), just feign death when you're about 10 feet from where that group was. FD should reset all mobs. If not, you can easily just summon pet, and take care of those that resisted FD.

Go about 25 feet straight ahd, and look to your left. Should be a small stariway heading down. Head down there, take a right. THere should be a group there at the door. If you aggro, just do the "run 10 feet from thier spawn and FD". Up to the right are 2 bosses. Sometimes they both drop a blue. ALwyas get at least 1 blue. The lvl varies, so sometime syou only get a sbs, sometimes a lbs. Warder Stilgiss ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Warder_Stilgiss') and Verek ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Verek') . You may need to run to these 2 and FD, reset mobs, and call pet, kill, loot.

After killing these 2, leave the vault, take a right. This will take you to the cave with golems and Fineous Darkvire. This guy heals, but other than that isn't too bad. If you go for him you have to wait til he is away from other golems. There is a golem that pats, so try to kill that first. He stays at the bottom of the path for something like 10 minutes. If you attack him there, the golem + 4 other dwarves add into the fight. It is not worth waiting 10 minutes each time, so if I catch him before he is at the bottom, I kill, otherwise I skip.

After you reach the bottom of the path, Head out the doorway. Straight ahead is Lord Incendius. If your pet has any Fire Resistance (which I would recommend if you plan on farming BRD for LBS for easy cash), fight is really easy. Eaither way, he goes down at 70 with little problems, just be careful you dont aggro and get kicked off. He always drops bracers that DE to lbs.

After looting Incendius, Head straight ahead, about 300 feet, go through the doors that should be unlocked, since you didn't use the SFKey at the unlock mechanism, and if you are well-geared and pet has FR, you can kill Bael'gar about 500 feet at the end of the hall. I think one of the groups pats near him so watch where you pull him. He will spawn adds as you dps him down. Just kill those blobs and then go back to him. After a few attempts, he became fairly easy on my hunter, but on my rogue with 0 FR, I stopped trying.

If you down Bael'gar that is another LBS. Just before Bael'gar was a path to your left which leads back to BRD entrence. Leave the instance, reset, and repeat.

Keep cheetah up as much as possible. Track humanoids and elementals when you get to the spots you konw you need to watch for. When you get your timing down right, YOu can do 1 run in under 12 minutes. Since you can do 5 instances an hour, you want to try to find a good loop that fits you. If on fifth run you ahve plenty of time, you can unlock the SFKey lock that opens door to General Angerforge and do some bosses there and near the bar. I used to try that path, you can make another 5 shards in that area angerforge, the golem lord guy, the guy where you break the kegs, the golem who protects the door at the bar, and the bartender.

I hope this helps you out. If your server sells LBS for just 15g each, this is pretty easy money for any char.erforge
