After 3 weeks of hitting the AH when I possibly could. I have reached my goal! 30k Gold!! Well I should have more than that I still have auctions selling ATM. Now no worries about trying to grind to get all my toons epic flyers. It was hard playing WOW not killing a single mob or doing a single quest. But after the 1st week I got into it and really enjoyed working the AH!. Now the next step to get all my toons from 300 engineering to 375 :) so that all of them can have epic airplanes :) The TEam will be 1x Resto Druid & 4x Hunters.

Thanks! I have to admit to seems weird having my gold amount 5 digits :) Now the next goal to hit lvl 70, get them all up to 375 engineers and try to be successful in pvp & pve like the rest of you guys & gals. I will have to spend LOTS of time to catch up. My pvp is really awful and controlling 4 pets in instances has been a challenge.

Note of waring on epic eng flyers. Make sure you can do all at same time . fast mount do not follow slow mounts well. My hunter could not follow slow flyers anymore . he would stop following, did not have slower flying mount to go back to because it is used to make the faster one.

I feel I might have to release some of my private tips here!

Heres a teaser though:

Buy [Rune Thread] from a vendor for about 45s and sell it for upto 1.5g each on AH.
Why this works? Some people don't check vendors they automaticaly assume its on AH

I could probably write out a decent write up for ways to gather some gold, but I'm more than sure there are some really good guides out there already.

here's one of many tips. And every server is different. My economy is horrid. But i buy Nether Vortex & Primal Nethers & any Primals Low watching people "WTS" normally they undercut the AH severely then I take them and resell them for what I know they will sell at. It takes time and I can tell you the AH prices changes from day to day on my server. I sometimes buy "Nether Votexes" for 200g from those people who can't wait to sell on AH then turn around and resell them for 270g. 70g profit! another thing I look for is... Lets say there are (6) primal fires up in ah. 1st (3) are listed @ 23g, the last 3 are listed @ 30g. Knowing that on my server primal fire sell well, I would buy those 3 primal fire @ 23g then relist for 30g. that's a 21g profit. You boviously need time to scan the AH for deals like this but in the end its worth it. Like I said I devoted 3 weeks just AH'ing and nothing else!

I could probably write out a decent write up for ways to gather some gold, but I'm more than sure there are some really good guides out there already. Most of them are just copy and pasted from the others, and a lot of it's outdated. I know a few good grind spots where I've been lucky, but the AH is the way to go. When I ground out the money for my epic for my main, I just took over the market for 3 cuts of gems for a couple of weeks, and was ruthless about it. Logged on in the morning, at lunch, and at night to tweak prices and watch for people undercutting - i'd buy them out and relist at MY price (which was a reasonable one). They we'rent raid cuts, either - just vendor/rep cuts. One cut in particular, one of the yellow cuts, nobody every listed, and I made a killing on those. My stockpiles went up pretty high a few times, but they all sold. Lost some profit on metas, let them go making maybe 1%, the market was flooded. Bought any and all raw gems for the cuts I was selling, too. A few people tried to take me on, but eventually they found their price to walk away - they got a smaller profit, I made mine after.

Them I forgot about rep or gear or anything else, and did at least 2 hours of grinding and dailies every day for that time. I made more than I needed for my epic - and this was long before Sunwell came out.

Easiest grind? Nagrand Ogres. Easy kills, cash, green and blue drops, marks, cloth, potions, and if you're a rogue, tons of lockboxes that can have pots, green and blue gems, and those epic throwing weapons (they can drop from any pick pocketed box or chest). Fast respawns if you're sharing them with someone else, or someone is questing. 200g an hour there is dead easy.

Now, when I get on my main, which is rare, I just do the Ogrila, Netherwing, Skettis and Sunwell dailies. Easy money, drops are'nt bad, and I can watch tv doing them. Anytime my guild bank gets low, two days of that is plenty.

I'm looking at the release of Season 4 right now as a massive money making opportunity, when everyone will need to re-gem and re-enchant. It'll take a while for those re-rolling after getting the ban hammer this weekend, so there's another opportunity. Same for leveling lowbies through instances - there's going to be a lot of people needing to get back into PvP as fast as possible.

It just takes effort, and taking advantage of the mentality of the playerbase. Most people want instant gratification - be it selling or buying. Most players are lazy, and have lots of gold, so if someone undercuts you, yours will sell when the cheaper ones are gone.

If you have 1000g stake money, you can double or triple that in a week, easy, if you research your market.

Well, here's my tip I'll throw in the pot.

Patches.

PATCHES PATCHES PATCHES.

They are the BEST times to gouge people and make a lot of money.

Check the patch notes, when new recipes come out, make sure to clean out the ah of those items before servers go down and put them up for gouged prices. As people log on in the early mornings to get these new things crafted, they will buy your's out.
This goes for patches that release new items as well.

New arena season releases are also good for enchanters and jewelcrafters to peddle their wares on the release day when the masses get new pieces of items that need enchants and gems.

Tuesdays right after patches are also good times as well as arena points update.

I literally had 2 bank fuls of them. Since I bought VC's for on average 15g a pop (made deals with some guilds and bought them in large bulk) and ended up selling the LPSx2 for about 20-25g a pop. I haven't done a single quest or daily since 2.4 hit and I got more gold than I can even use atm.

Hell I'll add one in that I don't see up here. This goes along with people being lazy. Most raiders will buy their stuff off the AH at the last second right before raid time. Put your stuff up on the AH about 2 hours prior to when a grand majority of guilds on your server start raiding and you don't need to necessarily be the lowest bidder either. My raid supplies generally all sell out before the night is done.
