Anyone else hate dailies? or am I alone?

I never liked them since first inception... most of them are boring after doing them once and repeating them feels like a job in itself, not my idea of fun. The gold is OK, but heck you can make 4x-5x the gold in the same amount of time farming normal SV and selling the armaments, drops and shards and it's far less boring (and significantly less effort). So other than Rep, why do it? Help me to understand...

SV has the iss that Armaments sell for less then 7g on my server, Large prismatics are going to drop in half by tuesday (patch day), and you the durability hit can be significant if you mess up.

Furthermore for dailies, if you d/e the greens, and sell the random drops from doing your dailies, its probably close to 2k per day.

I SO hate daillies, I just cant get myself to go and do them. I also just farm an instance for shards, or do an heroic for drops and badges, much more fun imo. But its all what floats your boat :).

What is a good daily path for non-epic fliers? The SSO dailies were the only ones I could stomach. Didn't feel for ogres or That. Goddamn. Bird.

My plan had I chosen to continue playing was to do the six fastest most casual SSO dailies on my shadowpriest duo, and all of them on my druids, then finish off questing in zones for cash on both duos. Six times 10 times four times seven, 1680 gold a week if I only do six on both duos, so epic flying fairly fast for a dualboxer. Then I had plans to make money via selling boosts, people actively desperately offer 5g for first boss runs in RFC, and my moonkin can easily pull entire "rooms" in Wailing Caverns and AE them down.

Before I multiboxed, I got exalted with Netherwing, then Ogri'la and Skyguard. The way I saw it was, get these hand-ful of quest done and if I'm bored with WoW I'm done for the day.

With multiboxing, my minimum is SSO. If I have time, or want to continue, I do Skyguard and Ogri'la. Total time is 1.5... 2 hours at most (depends on gankings, how long it takes to get escort going...). SSO alone only takes 30 min. The way I see it is if I complete all 3, I gained 145g per toon or 725g total.

Right now, each of my toon has enough to get the epic flyer... just haven't pull the trigger yet.

If you don't like the dailies, don't do them. Do whatever makes you enjoy your time. I'm doing it right now because I have such a pattern going with it that it's almost soothing and doesn't require much brain power.

I hate them too, I've only ever done like 10 in total, the concept just doesn't really work for me.

I'll just use them when they are convenient for me, e.g. BGs to AV, AB or EOTS, Heroics I know I can handle etc.

I just do 'em for the gold. The routing I have takes my hunter about an hour or so, completes 18 quests and nets on average around 400g or more. As much as possible I sorta zone out while I'm doing them and then turn the brain back on when I load my Shammies up.

Has anyone made a list of the day quests that are 5 boxer smart. the mutiphase survey and the(attack) battle plans are two that I do every day.

Anyone have others that are good for a 5 boxer?

To the OP. I love dailies, I can't find a faster way to make 1k gold.

For those asking which route, Below are 15 Easy as pie, very group friendly, non collection Daily quests (I do them in approxamately the order listed below:

1 Skettis (2)
Fires over Skettis (Bombing), Escape from Skettis (Escort)

2. Ogri'la (4)
Apexis Eminations (Big Simon Says), Bomb them again, Banish more demons, Wrangle More aether Rays

3 Netherstorm - (1)
Sunfury Attack Plans

4 Throne of killjaden or whatever (2) (Fly across the nether from Netherstorm)
Blood for Blood, Blast the gateway

5 IQD/SSO Spot (5)
Further Conversions, The Air Strikes Must continue, The battle must go on, Crush the Dawnblade, Keeping the Enemy At Bay

6 Nagrand (1)
Multiphase survey


All 15 of these are do-able 5man multiboxed in about 2 1/2 hours casually with Non Epic Flying mounts.

If im limited on time, I simpy avoid the Skettis ones & the nagrand one. Do the IQD, because of the speed.

All of this will net you just under 1k gold in 2 1/2 hours if you are 5boxing. If you have a DE'er, over 1K easy selling the mats:

OK I did a run last night to compare, spent 2.5 hour in SV, I cleared every mob except the giants over and over. Durability was non-issue since mobs only hit me a few times at most each pull (5x elemental shaman). All the shards and armaments I sold on the AH, vendored all greens/greys, auctioned any blues then went to sleep.
When I woke up I had the pleasure of sitting on the mailbox pulling in over 2k with lots of auctions still alive.

I think you make a good point here in the economy of your server being a huge factor - I sell armaments for 16g a piece and large prismatics for 26-28g without trouble. The elementals in there drop water motes (26g+/primal), there are also 2-3 chests that spawn in various locations (6g + blue sometimes), plus the ore nodes (theres a good 4-5 that usually appear). I also had primal nethers drop from these runs from the last boss which I sold for 100g a piece - plus got an epic pattern (bop mind you).

I do 11 daily quest with my group just for the gold and SSO rep. They have some nice rewards for my group and my professions.

It takes maybe 1hr or less.

Here is what I do...
My groups hearth is netherstorm.

I take the plans quest, and survey quest in shat.
Fly to Thrall and do the two quest there by Kaz.
I then port my guys to A52 and get my plans.
Then my mage ports us to shat.
I fly to nagrand and do that quest.
Port back to shat with mage and head to the SSO Quest.

I only do the kill quest, murlock, restoring that robot thing, the two flying quest, know your lines quest, and my JC does the ore quest with the naga. I get about 3k rep with them and enough money to not feel bad buying all the stuff I want off the AH.
