View Full Version : Need help with video encoding / rendering

Hello,

I'm tinkering around with video editing program's right now. But I have some problems making a good quality video for vimeo or youtube.

I had no problem editing the Video using Sony Vegas and I used Virtual Dub to get it in Xvid. But I can't get it in a good quality.

Can someone give me some good hints for the settings I should use?

The link doesn't work. Edit: Oh you notiecd, Can't say why sorry ;) Just Copy & Paste the Line then it works ;)

Hm i use the normal DivX Codec 6.2 or something (It's been 6 months since i made a movie), it has an excellent quality/size rate.

The Link is nice but does not really help me.

I already recorded and edited all the video.

Now I want to encode it with xvid so I can upload it.

But I think I found what I need, I have to test it when I get home.

Someone savvy should really write a Wiki section for recording, editing and encoding. A list of URLs for hosting downloads and streams would complement it nicely.
