Ok, so I have been dualboxing for some time, moved to four accounts last week and took up ... well ya know, shamans. just wanted to say hello. sort of ;)

The question!! I know I want to move towards PvP (even if the 4 guys i got going now are on a PvE realm) city/town raids, BGs, and well at 70 ARENA!! here is the what I'm looking for, 5v5 I need a friend to be a healer.. sure No problem i can find one of those. but how viable of an option would shamans be in another group like 3v3? could i run the entire group myself and not require someone else? would i just end up taking tons of dirt naps? you get the idea.. any thoughts on a single multiboxer doing any arena at all.. and if not shamans, what group, if played by ONE person, would have any chance at all in that bracket?

wow I'm new and ask alot =P

I have a lvl 70 elemental shammy who's been in very good 2vs2, 3vs3, and 5v5 teams. We're great in 5v5 because of our buffs and totems really reach they're full effect. But put us in 2vs2 or 3vs3 and we get stomped by the cookie cutter teams. Shaman has little to offer 2vs2 and 3vs3.

Playing my warrior and rogue in 2s and 3s, shamans are the easiest things to burst down. A 5 or 4 shaman + healer 5v5 works because they have the burst to take someone down from 100 - 0 in 1 salvo and no heal will be able to heal through it. Or at least thats the theory. In 3s and 2s, shamans just do not have enough burst damage by themselves to take someone down quickly enough to finish a game.

Unfortunately 2's and 3's are completely mana fights for the most part and elemental shamans end up losing that. >_<
