Long time lurker, multiboxing 5 shammy's on auch eu (lvl 37 now) and boxing it on 1 pc (the usual Q6600, 4gig, 8600GT setup)
1 thing different, im playing it on 1 monitor. I tried using 2, but the 2nd monitor just got me distracted, even if there was nothing to see, movement caused change in scenery and OOOOH SHINEY uh where was i?
so.. playing it on 1 monitor, i load them up in windowed mode (not maximized), click on max size, and use taskbar for easy switching between alts.
This combined with focus macro's (F1-F5 is heal set char, shift-F1 Shift F5 is set focus to char, used to be F8 - F12 to set focus).
In case of death, or loot quests, i just tab to the next window by alt-tab or clicking it on the taskbar, press the corresponding F-key to set focus (different icon displaying which key to press ;)) and off i go..
Now i did use Maximizer and pip for a while, but did not like it as much, first off either maximizer is set too big, with the taskbar overlapping the screen OR the taskbar not showing (i grew accustomed to the easy switching, i know in which order my char's are loaded everytime)
Also for some reason PiP loads too slow to my liking (as it has to ACTUALLY change all videodata to another resident window), usually takes 2-3 seconds, by which my other chars are death too.
just clicking another wow from my taskbar (again i know which char is which and which is alive), seeing the right colored icon depicting which Fkey to press to set focus, and off i go...
alright.. to the actual question part, im looking for a way to add shortcuts to bringing up a screen to front (they are always maxed out behind each other, not minimized).
Now i did find a program for this WinEQ2 that could do it, so i know it is possible. only downside is having to load the wow sessions FROM WinEQ2, somehow screwing with my keyclone...
KC could you add this functionality to keyclone (if you plan to try, there will be a donation coming your way)
Or perhaps someone knows of any other windows based program where i can set this up.
