Hey guys, Unholyhaman a recent new commer to multiboxing.
I'm sure most of you have heard of Athene "the greatest paladin in the world" and whom is currently holding the world speed leveling record in World of Warcraft sitting at 1day 2 hours and 31 minutes /played time.
http://www.worldofwar.net/gallery/data/500/Mineva.jpg
Please don't turn this thread into a flame war about Athene, it is not needed.
I am on the US server stormrage ALLIANCE and my friends and I currently have:
Level 70 mage
Level 70 paladin
Level 70 resto shaman
Level 70 holy priest
(shaman and priest for bigger pulls at higher levels)
We each have decent gear for our spec and for the speed leveling and we all have perfected the speed leveling strategy.
Firstly , we are looking for another level 70 prot paladin (who can wear mediocre t4+ epics) or (prot specced paladin wearing t5 or equivalent gear).
We are on the US Stormrage ALLIANCE server and we are looking for help leveling our paladin's alt up from level 30-55.
We offer you in return level 10-55 speed leveling (we will take turns leveling chars as not to scam each other out of help)
We are completely legit, using no hacks, bots or exploits and we have proff from Blizzard that the Athene Speed Leveling method is currently within blizzards TOS and EULA and no action will be taken against current users however they are planing to fix it in future patches.
In the process we will teach you fully tried, tested and working secrets of the speed leveling method and will show you step by step to make it work perfectly sharing our extra tips and secrets.
The prot paladin requirements:
To be on US Stormrage Alliance server
Specced prot - We WILL provide a suggested prot spec for the leveling (the paladin may wear t4+ or equivalent prot gear) or (may weave t5+ or equivalent holy gear)
We require 12000 absolute minimum hp unbuffed, decent block rating and 500+ spelldmg.
You also require to have a microphone with either skype or ventrillo installed and working. We will mainly be working on weekends (several hours at a time - with breaks inbetween for instance resets) and sometimes on weekdays.
If you are interested please DO NOT post here, rather email me at eric@rddg.de and we can discuss the details.
We are also willing to accept other proposals - e.g. us leveling your alt (who knows maybe we feel kind, maybe we require something in return) However out main focus is leveling the paladins alt and your alt in return.

Edit: Was confused about my previous post. It had a strikethrough it for some reason but i found the problem and edited it out. I tried to delete this post however it did not want to, just kept refreshing the page. If a moderator would be so kind as to remove this, would be greatly appreciated.
P.S If the above post is in any violation of the dual-boxing.com community and forum regulations, you are welcome to delete the post and I am very sorry.
I read through the rules and did not see any violation.
Good day.

Uh sorry but where did you read account sharing? We will not be using anyone else's accounts but our own...
I will be using my account (mage and shaman)
Friend will be using his account (paladin + his lowbie)
Other friend will be using his account (Priest)
Then you will be using your account (paladin)
We intend in no way to break any TOS or EULA with blizzard or dual-boxing.com
No account passwords, gold, money etc will be changing hands at all, we do not support gold buying/selling or paid for powerleveling services or the sharing and compramization of world of warcraft accounts.

He meant take turns leveling as in, I run you through instance on my toon, then you level mine, back and forth.
For reference if anyone is interested in how it's done.

I've used it to level my clones if I need to catch one up. The main problem with the method is that it requires you to max out your instance resets far too quickly to keep doing it.
The playtime may be 1 day 2 hours, however due to the fact that you're constantly hitting instance cap, you are actually spending only about 20 minutes online every hour.
Took me about 15 minutes to pull all of Deadmines x5. Did stockades in 2 pulls so it took about 20 but thats because 1 wing stuns.
SM was cake due to lack of stunners. and I did ZF after that at 40-45. Past 40 it slows down quite a bit.
After that BRD till 50 then slavepens in small pulls.
The method works on paper, however there is an artificial block due to instance caps. It is however a really easy and fast way to level, if you have the friends to do it with.

there was a discussion about this method a month or so back.. i think while it may be "quicker" there is too much involved with the pulls and kicking groups and who aoes.. just use a pally aoe tank and take 3 runs.. :D more fun more money :D

Xp per minute is a lot higher with this method, however I would much rather run the instance a couple times all the way through and get the loot.

This method isnt about getting gear or loot. its for players who have 70s and just want more lvl 70s and dont want to spend time lvling.
You can get 200gold a day with dailies. With this method you dont need gear until lvl 55, then you just buy him some lvl 60 dungeon set blues untill lvl 57 then buy outlands greens. Pop a few enchants on him and your as geared as most lvl 57 noobs.

lol... I'd never seen those videos before, nor heard of the method, but I love the related Athene Rant (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3NU5WZXCKU&feature=related). Absolutely hilarious.
And, yeah, I have no shame in saying that I'd like somebody to lead me by the nose to level 70 like that :)

Yes. there was a false rumour about an instance /played time bug on mmo-champion where several things were claimed but never prooved:
Entering and leaving an instances, leaving and entering groups while in instances and plenty of resetting instances gave you a /played bug where your played time either stood still or started to decrease. It was a lie.
Also people claimed that being in an instance stopped world of warcraft from calculating your /played time until you exited the instance again...this is so honestly stupid..i mean wtf.
Sadly enough, many noobs jsut read the first few posts of that argument and did not bother to read the rest where some of the most ridiculous things were said and claimed.
I can assure you, these are all false claims and that the /played phenomenon was purely because of this leveling method, no bugs, no photoshop and so on.
Picture this.
A lvl 25 lowbie getting FULL xp for ALL the mobs in SM cathedral (lvl 7-41 ELITES).
When we did it, my friend was getting 400-670 xp per kill @ lvl 25 in SM cath (unrested). That is 400-670X say 120 mobs. That is +- 13750 xp. Easily 25-40% of his lvl.
As for the other speed leveling method used in outlands, the person was getting +-10k xp a kill. Now that is a different story that I also know how to do :D

whats the technique used in outlands?

Heh thats the secret isn't it? :D
Sure alot of people know the Azeroth and Easter Kingdoms speed leveling technique but when it comes to outlands...you can't exactly AOE the whole of Auchenai Crypts or even Hellfire Ramperts can you.

In outlands everything is green to a 70 once the mob is 62+. From there on its a simple game of kick the high level, tag the mob and have the high level kill it for you then reinvite. You can do this for an entire instance easily. The lowbie gets full xp and you don't run into the instance cap that you run into in old world due to clearing too fast either.
Personally, I think that leveling speeds up dramatically once you hit outlands.

I'm a sad panda. They seemed to have nerfed the speed leveling with 2.4.2 :(
No more fast lvling up alts

No more fast lvling up altsThat was of course expected. Surely you must understand that you're not supposed to finish the first part of the game(pre-TBC) in that short amount of time :)

Yeah but I think many of us were hoping Blizzard would leave it in until WotLK, they are always trying to make it easier to prepare for the next xpac (season1 gear -soon season2 honor gear), increased 20-60 leveling time and so on. So we were hoping blizzard would just try to cover it up a bit but leave it there unless it got comepletely out of hand.

Paid power levelling services will probably cry out in tears now :D
I think it's good that you shared the info :)
