hey, im really new to the dual boxing world.. currently doing 2 toons at once, dual warlocks!, got the small stuff sorted, (follow /assist blahblah) now i have a few questions;

How should i go about levelling? straight solid grinding? questing?

If questing, how on earth to i talk to an NPC and accept the quest? i have the macro for accepting shared quests... does that work the same?

also, should i level the characters to a certain level before dual boxing? e.g. grind both of them seperatly on quests to about level 20 then join forces?

cheers. and apologies if this is in any stickies... im known to be blind sometime :)

and finally. Heyyy everyone :D ;)

Manually alt-tab to the alt and turn in/take quest as normal; not so bad for 2-3 boxers but a nightmare for 5boxers ;p

I personally play 'em all together from the start so their lvls stay relatively together, though some suggest playing to 10ish solo then grouping. I'd go apeshit insane if I tried to lvl multiple chars in a row to 10 doing the same things that close together instead of all at once though lol

I also prefer questing, and as a dual-boxer you shouldn't have any trouble with most quests; depends on how patient you are, grinding can be a little faster but comes with fewer gear upgrades and no rep gains(my boomkins and even my shamen in my sig were Exalted with SW by 50, meaning cheaper riding/epic riding training now that all rep levels affect buying price)

Greetings welcome, don't feed the Wilburs, beware XZin's links in IRC, and enjoy your stay :P

Well you should use maximizer for one and if at all possible 2 monitors.. It will make life a lot easier. I am a warlock player my self and if u are only dual boxing then you can quest no problem. Questing is the fastest way to level, don't grind. There is a macro you can use to share quest and accept quest however it doesn't work when you have to turn in and accept the next chain so that is why i recommend dual monitor using maximizer so u can just move the mouse over and click click or use the PIP (picture in picture) functions. You shouldn't have to wait at all for a certain level before questing.. Start them both at the same time and try to keep them at the same xp so they progress at the same time. If one dies i recommend letting the other die so it doesn't get xp while the corpse doesn't. But with 2 locks i can't really see you dying at all.

Because you are only dual boxing it isn't that hard to do all the collection quests it will just take you twice as long for those.. vs 5 boxing having to do them 5 times over. There are a few collection quests I would omit because they are just terrible drop rates.

Also remember to always SS your self

cheers for the tips guys! I can only use one monitor (lame PC)... messing about the other night and i cant have 4 world of warcrafts open, all running at about 10-20 fps! i was amazed because my pc is AWFUL!!

Anyways the levelling is going great now that i started quests.... but now im faced with another question.... do you use the mouse? or ALL keybindings? (for casting) 'cause i fear my fingers wont remember heaps of keybindings!! ive got alot of "modifier:alt and Shift and control" macro's... they help save space... but eventually im gonna run out! helpz?

cheers again!
