After watching a couple of videos I had noticed that when multiboxing the other toons simply have the main on follow. I was always under the impression that every character stacked. Is there a way to multi-box to achieve such results, and if so how would someone go about doing so.

I'm not sure what you mean by "every character stacked".

So far as I'm aware, most multiboxers simply have the other characters on follow. That's certainly how I do it. Trying to move all 5 characters at once would be a nightmare, as each character would have - even with some effort put into it - a slightly different point-of-view, so for example, if you passed the movement keys through to each character, they'd all head off in a slightly different direction.

For me, they're always on follow except for when I use positioning macros to spread them out for big fights.

Do you mean A follows B and B follows C and C follows D etc......

No, they won't all "stack" like you're thinking. The alts will stack but you'll have to break follow and back into them to stack them up, or hit a key that just moves the alts forward a bit.
