After browsing some pictures and videos of Warhammer Online I realized how cool the Magus class would be to box.
Imagine 10 (or even more) of those moving in sync with eachother in a formation just devastating the battlefield.
Read some about them and they're supposed to be on their disc all the time :D

wouldn't mind boxing 1-4 of those with a Zealot (healer/caster class) alongside them, sounds fun :)

I was looking at that exact same thing before lunch. I think a bunch of squig herders would be a blast too.

I was thinking about that too. They are supposed to be the Bright Wizard equivalent nuker type of Chaos, but the little I've seen of official material shows me that Magus has crap for DPS and mostly delivers low-damage Damge over Time effects and dies a lot while the BW nukes for 400-650 damage on multiple targets easily.

Follow will be in, Face is in, Stick will not be in. When I get in the beta I'll try to get them to think about it :)

I heard players will have collision, I wonder how will it work with following :)

It's not in the beta right now as evident from the videos at http://www.curse.fr/warhammer-online/videos/

Multiboxing, as long as you stay alive or you're not knocked out of the way, you can block enemy players

Further thoughts from what I've seen of WAR in videos:

Bright Wizard, best possible multi-target and single target DPS, AE damage (ranged) looks better for a Zealot. As for healers, goblin shaman have a strong AE heal, two shamans kept a team alive while they were attacked by four Bright Wizards.

this feature will be in release version (since their tanks have abilities to move an ally player behind them to protect them from any harm and others similar things)

that would be interesting to see 4 chars behind you following and running into each other ;)

I heard collision is only for enemy players? Thus follow would be as normal where everyone is "stacked" following the MT?

Collision detection is not activated for friendlies (when it goes in), so there will be no traffic stocking.

Some Mythic staffer presented the example of a goblin taking a bad beating and a black orc wanting to tank, the black orc picks up the goblin and throws him over his shoulder then gets tanking.

Okay people who were thinking about the Chaos Magus multiboxing, I finally found what I was looking for, a video that showed a magus not dying loads and doing tiny amounts of damage : http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=HBA-GCPHAB0

With that very powerful and great looking AE damage spell (or "target a ton of enemies around you spell") it might be something, both for grinding and RvR.

By zones I meant the area in each tier thats pvp enabled. I have yet to do any scenarios so I can't comment on those .. they never seem to start up when I play.
Ye know.. the only reason why I haven't reported you to Mythic for this is that I'm alrdy in the beta myself and thus cba to find the e-mail adress to do so. Well, that I don't know wether any of the site moderators would give up your e-mail adress or IP doesn't exactly help, either.

Really, though, there's 350k+ players waiting to get in the beta, and for each NDA breach they report they know that the number of competitors will go down by 1, so I suggest being careful about what you say.

Info about the scenarios is available on the beta forum.

As for Bright Wizard multiboxing, it might be too risky:

That guy just set off an AE on what used to be an enemy player right next to himself, and that's 2679 health being lost.
