After nearly a year off from playing warcraft, I recentally got back into the game via a friend. Well I was playing it for a while and heard about dual boxing. Though I tried it a while back but that was before knowing about the software to run it. Now I'm playing 2 accounts for a while and have been having fun. Also the fact that dual boxing is challenging it's a greater reason to play again.

I started this a 4 weeks ago, dual locks. One just dinged 39, the other is 38 and not far behind. After I'm finished with a current project I'm on, my plans are to upgrade my motherboard/memory and purchase 4 more copies of WoW and start 5 boxing, and get back into endgame raiding which was where I was before I got burned out but didn't know it. Well I'm off before I go burn my food.

Heya Eiyontor ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=User&userID=6492') and welcome to the forums!

it is amazing how many people have the same story... of being bored/burnt out and left... only to get even more excited when they heard about multi-boxing. it can get very addicting...

and yes... you will 5 box... some day  (Muhahahhaha)

My thoughts exactly. This was precisely how I got into multiboxing as well. Having burnt myself out raiding, grown bored with the lack of options for a soloist, quit the game for 6 months, I've come back as a multiboxer and I'm enjoying my time in WoW again more than I have at any time previously.

I started as a pve raider, quitted several months. Came back for RP, eventually quitted, then came back to do some hardcore pvp. And started to get bored again.

There was only one option left.

Time to release the band of badgers!

Played for eighteen months getting past the first two bosses in BWL. Quitted before TBC came out. Came back after ten months and was distinctly underwhelmed. Rerolled to a new faction/server/class and did the PVP thing. Started boxing.

Two bosses into BWL, eh? (no i'm not canadian, just a habit I have) Well I played a little over 2 years and raided a year and a half. Last thing I was doing in my guild was SSC. The guild I was in was up to the 4 Horseman in Naxx when 1.13 (pre-BC patch) came out nearly killing raiding until BC came out and we were at level 70. But when you raid 5-7 days average for that time I've been raiding it can get a little tedious.
