I dont know about you guys but while im playing my 4 shaman its generally only one character that has a higher defence than the others. Most stuff actually dies before it reaches me :)

I found quite a nice place to max out your defence very quickly (if you dont mind standing around for a while). In Terrokar ,south of Auchindoun there is a coffin (which contains a relic for a quest) which when you click on it, spawns around 3 dozen mobs around you. You can open the coffin any time, even after you have done the quest and spawn the mobs, which then proceed to beat seven shades of sh*t out of you. However, they only hit for about 6/7 damage on my 64 shaman but its very fast. Agro doesnt shift to other characters if they heal you either which is a result :)

If like me you like to pvp quite a bit its ncie to have maxed out stats.

On a similar note, there are quite a few bugged animals in Nagrand that you can beat on to get weapon skills up, you just have to find one :)

Hope this helps some of you :D

I am not entierly sure about this, maybe others could confirm, but I believe that in pvp your skill counts as maxed out.

There's also the mobs in Blasted Lands that don't die and the 4 elemental guys in SMV (but they don't hit back). The former are lvl 50ish so not too bad to lvl weapon and/or defense.

I remember finding a bugged mob in Hinterlands once one my Mage. For kicks, my mage got to 300/300 Daggers on this mob (a turtle near the coastline). I don't even know how long it took - I went out for most of it.

To add to this, upgrading your weapon skills can easily be done by attacking a banished demon.

If I'm reading you correctly, you are saying weapon skill matters for pvp. It actually does not. It is considered maxed in pvp. However, I believe hit rating can still lower the default miss rate.

The easiest way I've found is to do this. Get to 70, bring along a 70 pally (2 piece T4 healing set preferable but fine w/o), Go to Blasted Lands, pally judge JoL on one of the immune mobs and autoatttacks to refresh it, auto attack with the toon you are trying to level up your wep skills/defense, go afk.

For 2h wep skills try to get the fastest 2h of that wep type you can so you don't need to check on your toons as often. JoL is not bases on ppm but rather chance on hit so faster weps are better. If you're Dual wielding you should have more than enough healing and be able to go afk indefinitely. While you will auto afk eventually, you will not auto log due to being in combat. I have several times done this set-up, gone shopping, on a date, to work and come back to full wep skill and defense.
