I downloaded and installe dthe program on my computers. Computer 1 is the server. Computer 1 can connect to itsself (host - client). computer 2 however is unable to connect to computer 1. I did everything exactly the same on the client on computer 2 as i did on the client on computer 1. What do i need to do to get it to connect?

What program?
Keyclone?

If your trying to connect keyclone to a keyclone you use the Ip and port

eg 192.0.0.1:1302

Someone else may have more idea about what your asking, but i need more details to attempt to assist you.
*edit*

Or are you talking about your whole lan setup?

Yeah, you really need to be more clear in your posts about what software you are actually talking about, what is happening, what you expect to be happening, etc. We're here and will help but there is no point spending time on something when the poster has spent no time in thinking how to phrase their questions.

I think there is a program CALLED Multibox :p I'd guess he's asking about that but I dunno anything about it...and this guy was in IRC earlier too bugging keyclone for a free trial lol

And who butts are you Dryath...yer one letter away from my other name, Drayth ;p

Edit: Found it: MultiBox ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=35') - Judging from jason's other post though he may very well be generalizing everything as keyclone or vice versa lol

What do i need to do to get it to connect?I still use Multibox and I know that the initial connection/configuration can be a little frustrating. I set my main computer up with a static IP address (192.168.1.200), and then connected with the other boxes using that IP address. I also had to enter static DNS servers (I used my router address 192.168.1.1) on the clients as well...not sure why but that's the only way I could get everything to work consistently.

Also this may seem obvious, but make sure that your Windows Firewall (or 3rd party firewall) is disabled, or at least properly configured to accept connections on the port.
