Yarr!
Here's the link to my first arena video. I've compiled this for informational purposes, not for entertainment. I'm looking for suggestions/comments (constructive only, please) AND for other people to post their own videos for everyone's edification.

Interesting, I'll comment more clearly on it soon. I just started arena as I dinged 70, I got raped the first week, 1 win, 9 losses with a clothadin healer.
I did some games tonight and had a 8 win 13 loss with a shaman healer. But I'm at 1400 rating and I'm still meeting s3 shoulder equipped teams about 80% of the time (Not kidding.). My battlegroup is a bit fucked, there's a huge gear wall and players who don't have good gear dont even bother with 5v5 at all. :p So I don't expect to be winning that much until I get at least s1.
(Vindication, EU is a sad 5v5 bracket. :< )
Watching the movie further. >.>

I found that personally, going for the mage to IB isn't a good idea. But then again, if I don't kill two targets within 10 seconds, I'm wiped. :p Instead, I focused on warriors/hunters/shadowpriests as first targets, rogues as the second, and then the remaining dps, or if I am low on mana, the healers first.
Mmh, you survive well long tho. Oo
I had a full s3 geared shaman healer and some teams still killed all my four chars within 25 seconds of the first hit. :< And I play 300 rating lower then you do. x)
Mmh, but sometimes I don't know if i should go for warriors first, this one full s3 warrior, took me 2x uninterrupted lb's (times four), 3 shocks (one char was cc'd as this point) and then 3x em+ns+cl and the warrior still had 13% hp left, then got his first heal. And this was a pretty common 1400ish rating 5v5 I met. There were some lower geared teams, that i could drop. Likely people that farm points by creating a new team every week. I suppose with some luck with pooling, I could technically get to 1600's. You face s1 geared people in 1600's tho, kinda envious, mabe I should trasfer. :P
filefront is proxyblocked at work, do you have any other mirror? just curious =P

Its a really tough habit to get out of, but DO NOT button mash your Instant Cast macro while you are casting the previous Lightning Bolt in anticipation that you will kill your target with it.
You should be 90% sure your target will die with the Instant Cast macro, and you can't have that sort of certainty while you are halfway through casting another spell. If it is VS a Warrior that is not in Prot stance or a Hunter, you can usually be sure of his death earlier on, but VS any class with a get out of jail free card, you must cast lightning bolt to soften them up, take a half second after the cast to assess the situation, and then make the decision to burn your Instant Cast macro. At this point, the only thing preventing your targets death is his reflex of using his Fail Save VS your Instant Cast of Death.
Would like to see more. Found it to be really helpful!

Update:
Grabbed a full T6/S3 Holy Paladin and went 5-1--Pure rapage. Every time I team with one I'm reminded how superior they are to the other healers in my opinion. I didn't fraps any of them because we were just getting used to each other, but next play session I'll record them all with commentary.
Was good, good luck with future games :D

Nice video!
Can i ask , are you running 4 chars on 1 PC / 1 monitor or do you have 1 main char on monitor 1 and 3 on a 2nd? Just curious because i run 4 toons on 1 monitor at the moment and i'd like to know if frapsing one window would cause my machine to fall over. I have a quad core Q6600 and 4 gig of ram.
Keep up the good work, i hope to be doing the same soon too :)

I have a Athlon Dual Core 4800+ with a GeForce 7800GTOC 512mb and 4 gigs of ram. I have two screens, with my main on one and 3 boxes of 640x512 on the second screen. I get maybe ~40fps Frapsing the main screen, usually 60 anywhere outside of the center of Shatt at peak time. As far as I know, Fraps only records from the "main" window. Even when I moused to the second monitor and used one of those windows to control the girls it still recorded the "main" window. No issues for me there!

Please keep making movies....seeing the action in high-res is far superior and well worth the download.

The only suggestion I have is to work on speaking in monotone...you sound bored to death :p
