I've heard alot about it and i'm tired of messing with programs like AUTOHOTKEY and Synergy. All i want is something i can boot up and go with. (i realise after hours on end with these other programs i can "boot up and go" but i don't want that). I want it to know 1 is 1 on all of WoW copies not right a paragraph to it about how i feel towards it in order to make it do what i want... *OMG I'M DATING AUTOHOTKEY* so... the question
How long will it take me approximately to set up Keyclone. I wanna know more about it before i give it my money. and does it already know that 1 is 1 on all of the WoW copies?

Takes about 5 minutes to install and set up your commands (basically telling it the location of each instance of wow, along with front and back fps and a few other things), a few minutes to set up the no-no-pass list (eg tell it to not pass wasd from the screen that has focus to any other client) and a few minutes to set up your regions in maximiser. From your post on the general forums I gather you want to run instances across multiple pc's, so I can't say how long that will take to get going but from what I have seen it should again only be a few minutes.
Once that is done and you have your instances open, all keyclone does is sned translations of your keypresses to each open wow instance it sees, so if you press 1 on your main client it will send 1 to all clients (again, there are more advanced options such as the keymaps to allow translations of 1 key into a different key but I haven't had a need for those yet).

thank you very much. Whats this you say about background FPS? and will it make my main character's version of WoW run faster? I think i'm just gonna stick on 1 computer, Synergy is pissing me off to say the least, it won't target the server PC but it'll target the other 2 and run easily. My computer is good, but not top of the line so anything i can get to improve it would be nice! i really need to get a RAM upgrade i only have 1G, which is more than enough for 1 copy of WoW, but when were talking about 3, theirs little room to go around.
Currently i only have 2 monitors and when i put a copy of WoW on my second, non dominate monitor it gets horrid beyond belief, i get like 3-4 FPS on the second screen while the dominate screen runs fine, whats with that?
How does keyclone work with putting in account name and password... Will it copy that? that could be a problem
I would strongly suggest upgrading your RAM BEFORE you try and run more than one instance of Wow...
BTW, when you set the Background FPS, you are just setting the max FPS for when that window is in the background. So when it's set to 15 fps, all copies of Wow besides the one that you are actively working in will only be running at 15 FPS.

im running 3 clients on 2GB RAM. i just upgraded to 4GB tonight should be here in a few days and i feel sure i can run 4 hopefully 5 clients. if not i have a slave computer with 1GB i can use to run 1 client maybe 2 at 20fps so i have enough power. but for each computer you want to connect to keyclone you have to buy a seperate license for each. it doesent remember your password you have to type that in. and while you are typing you can mute keyclone so it doesent broadcast while typing. i mute in game chat also so i dont freak people out saying the same thing 3 times in a row. im hooked now on multiboxing

Howdy FatherJason and welcome to the forums!
depending on your setup, it could be as quick as a couple of minutes. if you want to use maximizer and commands, your total setup time could be 5 minutes. across multiple machines? 5 minutes to set up the commands and maximizer on that machine... and 10 seconds to connect them.
after that, i hope its pretty straight forward. there are various FAQs and posts explaining how to do various things.
of course, if you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note.

For simple key-passing, you literally do just download, start up wows, start keyclone(or reverse order if you have a run-wow/maximizer command in keyclone) then bam yer passing keys right off. You'll want to add movement to do not pass but that's about it, no coding required, graphical interface to set things rather than opening everything in notepad like AHK etc, and if somethin happens, ring rob up and he'll try to walk ya through it if it isn't already extensively covered in a faq already

I believe that I would roughly equate it to: 1...2...3! :D

I'm not sure how you'd get about making KeyClone any easier or more useful than it already is. As a new multiboxer I entirely recommend it - worth every cent.
