View Full Version : Best way to farm level 51-60 greens?

Hey I am curious if anyone has tried this before: farm as many level 51-60 greens as they possibly can. The price for illusion dust + greater eternal essences on my server are through the roof. I was wondering which instance/zone will net me the fastest gain of these items.

I am thinking probably something like stratholme/scholomance/dire maul, or perhaps UBRS. Basically anything i can farm damn fast.

Wonder if I can make more gold this way than doing shattered sun dailies... illusion dust is selling for over 3g/pop, greater eternals are over 20g at times. CRAZY.

BRD is pretty fast and also offers a lot of blue to DE into LBS, which you can trade/sell for Ill Dust and GEEs.

I personally go for strat for greens + orbs.

hm, i did a full strat (undead + living side) and only got like 4 greens and a righteous orb, a bunch of blues but i don't need blues (greater eternals sell for twice what large brilliant shards do). So for gold, i think i'll stick with dailies and stuff.

Was this at lvl 70? I suspect that green drops in 50-60 instances is lowered when you are lvl 70. I have tried Diremaul, BRD and stratholme with my lvl 70 team allmost without green drops, but when I leveled my new team I got a lot of green drops in those instances.
