View Full Version : Broadcasting keys to the OS with keyclone
I've yet to figure out how to broadcast commands to the OS. As of now I've only figured out how I can only broadcast to windows titled the same as the one I'm actively using on my main window.
For example, when I'm done for the night and I want to shut down all the machines, do I have to do it manually one-by-one or can I configure keyclone to assist me with a task like this as well?

keyclone is designed to take focus on windows that are open not the core os desktop.
Your best bet would be to create a little application with a shutdown / restart / logoff button and have this run on every computer.

when i want to show down for the night... i type /exit and they all log off.
if you are talking about turning off your machine... ummm... errr... i can't remember the last time i turned off my machine.
it might have been during the last hurricane... 2 years ago. :D
insert global warming hysteria... because global warming is causing a LACK of hurricanes... whereas before it was causing an increase...
next up... global COOLING

Fire up a command prompt window and use the 'shutdown' command?
EDIT: never mind.
